chapter 24 - heavy hearts

It was one and only Manik Malhotra.

'' why are you not ready finance.....toady is your marriage and I thought you must be running out of time for completing your makeups and all '' he asked in very calm and sweet tone eyeing her he moved towards her.

'' But here you are roaming like you are the most free person on the world '' now anger was clear in his voice he reached very close to her.

Nandni pov

I walked in my room after telling everything to maa (mother) I was feeling somewhat hope that she will not let anything wrong happen to anyone.
But as soon as I entered in my room all my hope went away and fear crept inside me. I saw him........yes him who has taken my all peace.

He was sitting on my bed like a king with his leg fold over one another and his dirty shoes where also touching my pretty pink princess bedsheet. How he came inside .

And then only I heard him asking me that why I am not ready and I should be running out of time for doing my makeup.
His voice clearly stated that he is angry.

Is he even for real. What he is thinking that I would be waiting impatiently for him to get married after he did all those things.

I came out of my thought when he jerked me inside by my hand.

''How you came inside my room '' she said timidly.

He rolled his eyes looking at her timid behavior.

'' Shut up where is the dress which I sent'' suddenly he shouted... he was now getting impatient.

She got scared hearing him shouting suddenly. Yesterday flashes came into her mind.

''In hall'' she murmured looking at his dark pitch eyes which was screaming danger.

''Why..... shouldn't tou be wearing it. What do you think telling your mother everything will save you from this marriage or save your house ? '' he shouted getting angry as he was expecting her ready for marriage. He just cant wait to have her But here she is trying everything to get away from him

Nandini..what is happening Ishita came fastly after hearing shouts from Nandni room getting worried but when she came inside she went all silent her eyes went wide looking at the person infront of her.

She kept standing their looking down not knowing what to do.
'' whom the hell you are waiting for go get ready if I dont see you ready in next 5 min then ....'' He spat angrily making her flinch

'' Man-ik Malhotra'' Ishita murmured looking at Manik who noticed her presence. She never in her dreams though that it could be Manik ,Asia's richest buisness man and most importantly a powerful mafia.

'' Great look who's here........ my mother in law '' Manik said evily looking at her.

Nandu went near her mother and stood holding her.

Ishita knows well who is Manik and how he is .....she could see the seriousness and evilness on his face.

''Nandu baby are you waiting for me to empty my all bullets in your mother's head and take you forcefully from here or you will now get ready fast and come with me like a good girl '' he spoke to her giving sweet threat in a sugar coated voice eying both of them.

''No - no dont do anything please I m.... coming '' saying this Nandni ran like a scared kitten to get ready.m

''Why are you destroying my dau-ghter 's life dont do this..... please leave us? '' Ishita tried to talk with him

''wow so much concern flowing for your adopted daughter...... '' Manik said taking his seat like a king back on her princess bed.

She was shocked thinking he even know this. Did he say this to Nandini ? She was thinking .......

'' not yet mother in law.......go and tell your daughter that you are very happy with this marriage and you have no problem with this............... don't give those looks to me its not like if you wont say I will not marry her its for your own daughter she may get little relief or peace.'' Manik said with a evilness on his face.

''Plea....'' Ishita was going to say something but stopped when a voice came.

''Mummaa.......she (Nandni) is going somewhere..........'' Both Manik and Ishita turned back to look at source of voice.

It was Aarav who was standing with a confused face who came finding his mother to ask why her sis is getting ready

'' Beta what are you doing here go back to your room...go'' Ishita said worrying  about him  thinking that Manik would hurt him.

''Wait Mother in law whats so hurry let me also meet my little brother in law
you go help your daughter and bring her fast'' he said jumping out of the bed and  tugging Aarv inside and sending Ishita outside.

'' But....... '' Ishita was having tears flowing she dint wanted to leave her son with him what if he harm him in anger.

Her daughter she needs her mother too. Then With heavy heart she decided to go to her daughter  and talk with her.

Nandni was standing in red lehnga wiping her silent tears and was coming out.

Ishita was looking at her daughter she was looking so beautiful even she is not wearing any jewellery and makeup.

She never thought this day will come like this she too had some wishes of choosing  hos son in law for her daughter who would love her and but now nothing will happen like that .

Ishita hugged Nandini telling that she is looking like a angel.
''Nandu beta... I m sorry..very soorry I couldn't do anything.....but you know right that I love you so much and I never want any bad for you ...so will you listen to me .....''

Ishita said in tears looking at Nandni who nodded her head crying.

'' I think you..... should give this marriage a .....chance. You should try to talk to him nicely once may...... he listens to you. Just like you are a ....best daughter , a best sister , try to become a best.......wi..fe '' Ishita completed saying all this with so much difficulties. How much her heart pained saying all those words only she knows after knowing things he has done to her daughter and this home.

Nandini was shocked to listen her mother's words she never expected that her mother will say her to be a best not even good wife of a monster like him even after knowing all his deeds. He took their house ,sent her parents to jail in false  accusations molested her blackmailed her and what not.

But if marrying to him can save her house and patents and her brother's future than she is ready. Her parents has done so many things for her maybe by marrying him she can atleast help a little.

With heavy heart She said ok wiping her tears.
And both  walked out and saw Aarav and Manik was standing in the drawing hall.

Nandni panicked looking her small brother with Manik so she ran towards them only to found her small brother standing with deep frown .
