Year 5 - We Can Do This

We didn't know what was going to happen and it was clear that Umbridge had a few screws loose now more than ever but we hear a sound and turned to see a pack of centaurs

"You have no business here, centaur. This is a Ministry matter. Lower your weapons. I warn you, under the law, as creatures of near-human intelligence..." Umbridge began as and row as fired at her.

"Protego. How dare you? Filthy half-breed. Incarcerous," Umbridge as she began to strangle one of them.

"Please. Please stop it. Please," Hermien said as we tried to help the centaur as he writhed on the ground.

"Now, enough. I will have order," Umbridge said before she was picked up by Grappy.

"Look who's back," I said almost smiling.

"You filthy animal. Do you know who I am?" Umbridge said as the centaurs begin to harass Grappy.  

"Leave him alone. It's not his fault. No, he doesn't understand," Hermione said Grappy dropped Umbridge. 

"Potter, do something. Tell them I mean no harm," Umbridge said as the centaurs pick up Umbridge.

"I'm sorry, professor. But I must not tell lies," Harry said.

"What are you doing? I am Senior Undersecretary Dolores Jane Umbridge. Let me go!" Umbridge cried as the centaurs took her off.  

"Thank you, Grawp. Hermione. Hermione, Sirius," Harry said as he headed back to the school.

"How'd you get away?" I said as we ran into Ron and the others on the bridge. 

"Puking Pastilles. It wasn't pretty," Ginny said.

"Told them I was hungry and wanted some sweets. Course they told me to bugger off and ate the lot themselves," Ron said.

"That was clever, Ron," Hermione said. 

"Has been known to happen," Ron said.

"It was brilliant," Neville said.

"I bet," I said.

"So how are we getting to London?" Ron said.

"Look, it's not that I don't appreciate everything you've done, all of you... but I've got you into enough trouble as it is," Harry said.

"Not this again," I said.

"Dumbledore's Army's supposed to be about doing something real. Or was that all just words to you?" Neville said.

"Maybe you don't have to do this all by yourself, mate," Ron said as we all nodded. 

"So how are we going to get to London?" Harry said.

"We fly, of course," Luna said.

Later we were soaring through the skys on a pack of thestrals since not all of us could see them it was two per thestral. We flew all the way to London and make it to the ministry somehow without incident and soon we had made it. 

"Department of Mysteries," Said the elevator. 

"This is it. Ninety-two. Ninety-three. Ninety-four. Ninety-five. He should be here," Harry said as he moved through the room full f shelves with crystal balls on them.  

"Harry. It's got your name on it," Neville said as he look at one of the balls.

"Harry," I said seeing a death eater approach. 

"Where's Sirius?" Harry said.

"You know, you really should learn to tell the difference between dreams... and reality. You saw only what the Dark Lord wanted you to see. Now, hand me the prophecy," Lucius said as he removed his mask with a wave of his wand.

"If you do anything to us, I'll break it," Harry said.

"He knows how to play. Itty, bitty baby. Potter," Bellatrix Lestrange said with a creepy laugh as she appeared.

"Bellatrix Lestrange," Neville said.

"Neville Longbottom, is it? How's Mum and Dad?" Bellatrix Lestrange said.

"Better, now they're about to be avenged," Neville said about to attack her but I held him back.

"Now, let's everybody just calm down... shall we? All we want is that prophecy," Lucius said. 

"Why did Voldemort need me to come and get this?" Harry said. 

"You dare speak his name? You filthy half-blood!" Bellatrix Lestrange said. 

"It's all right. He's just a curious lad, aren't you? Prophecies can only be retrieved by those about whom they are made. Which is lucky for you. Haven't you always wondered... what was the reason for the connection between you and the Dark Lord? Why he was unable to kill you... when you were just an infant? Don't you want to know the secret of your scar? All the answers are there, Potter, in your hand. All you have to do... is give it to me. Then I can show you everything," Lucius said.

"I've waited 15 years," Harry said. 

"I know," Lucius said sounding like he cared. 

"I guess I can wait a little longer. Now," Harry said.

"Stupefy," I said firing right at Lucius. 

We then all made a beeline for the door as the death eaters gave chase I was with Hermione as we all got separated. I was running down a hallway and saw a death eater behind us and gaining ground. I waited for a moment and when I heard that he was right behind us blasted him with a spell at point-blank range and he was sent flying back. The two of us turned a few corners and ran into the others before finding ourselves cut off and surrounded by death eaters.

"Reducto," Ginny said firing at a death eater and then the room began to collapse.

"Not good everybody run I said as we ran for the door.

We go through the door and are immediately falling from a large height I see the ground approaching fast but stop before we hit it we stop.

"Department of mystery they got that bit right," Ron said we all got up.

"I don't like this," I said to Hermione.

"Don't like what," Hermione said.

"That fight they went down too easy," I said.

"After everything we deserve a little easy," Hermione said.

"Maybe," I said.

"We can do this," Hermione said.
