"Aaj tak Shaurya ko kabhi is tarah se baat karte nhi dekha mujhse..." Her voice was trembling.

Her face was shadowed with a fear. The fear of seeing love turn to hatred in his eyes. The fear of confessing that if it happens, it will be entirely due to her own self only.

"Tujhe bhi is tarah se baat karte nhi dekha itne saalon mein..." said Tej.

"Agar aisa hai... Toh aap ek kaam kyu nhi karte..."

"Un sabhi ladkiyon ko jo aapke college mein padhti hai... Unhe jaakar boliye kal se padhne college naa aaye..." she demanded, looking him in the eyes.

A wave of shock washed over him as he heard her words.

Nobody had ever spoken to him like that before. 

No one had ever confronted him with reality like this.

"Kya mujhe Anokhi Ji ko apni feelings ke baare mein bata dena chaahiye..." He pondered deeply.

"Voh mujhe galat toh nhi samjhengi..." He doubted himself.

"Main nhi chaahta isse humaari dosti pe koi fark pade..." He was skeptical with himself, wondering what if it harms their friendship.

"Vo to meli Anumaa hai... "

"Anokhi ka Anu... Mumma ka Maa..."

"Anu Mumma..." she giggled.

"Aap Mumma ko ek baal Anu kehkal bulaao na... " She requested in a sweet way.

"Kab tak yeh baat apne dil mein dabaaye baithe rahoge??... Jaake keh kyu nhi dete?!!..." he was fed up with his laid-back attitude and the unreasonable suffering he was causing himself.

"Kya chaahte ho tum?... Vo poori zindagi aise hi tumse nafrat karti rahe..."

Eyes, filled with pain, glistened, betraying the sarcastic smile playing on his lips.

PYAAR NHI...

TO NAFRAT HI SAHI...

The words slipped out unintentionally.

"Yeh jo hum dono ke beech hai... Vo kya hai..." His pain-filled pale eyes stared dangerously into hers.

"Jo bhi hai..." her voice crumbled, "Aapki galatfehmi hai..."
