The next morning, I woke up to some one stroking my face. It was Aliceea, well her ghost anyway. All of a sudden, something hit me. If I was seeing her ghost, then, and as much as I hated to say it, Alli was dead, I felt sick to my stomach and felt myself about to throw up. Quickly I jumped out of Neesa's bed and ran to the bathroom. As I had my head halfway down the toilet, I felt something stroke my hair. I grabbed a towel and wiped my mouth as I turned around to see Aliceea's ghost still there. Then I realised that she only disappeared when I rubbed my eyes, or when she's finished popping up and scaring the hell out of me. I really wanted to know what happened to her and if she was really..... dead.
"Sara, are you okay?" Asked Neesa, knocking on the bathroom door.
I looked at Alli in curiousness, wondering if I was the only one who could see her.
"Yeah, I'm fine, come in." I answered.
She came in and closed the door behind her. She looked at me and flushed the toilet.
I looked at her, confused.
"What are you staring at?" She asked.
"Can you see her?" I asked.
"Who?"
It took her a second to figure it out but then she gasped.
"Is Alli here?" She asked.
I nodded.
"Where?"
I pointed to next to the sink.
"Alli?" Neesa began. "It's Raneesa."
"Nees, she's not blind!" I said.
She looked at me and rolled her eyes.
"So, what does all this mean?" Asked Neesa.
"I don't know, but she only goes away when i rub my eyes."
"Does she talk?"
"I haven't heard her say anything."
"Try now!"
"What, like now now?" I asked.
"No, 20 years now, yes now now, you idiot!"
"Touchy! Alli, please you have to say something!"
Her lips moved, but no words came out.
"Well that was strange." Said Neesa.
"You're telling me, you're not the one who can see her!"
"Now who's the touchy one?"
"Still you!"
She rolled her eyes at me.
"So what now?" She asked.
"Well, Alli can't talk so we need to sort out what happened to her!"
"Happening!" She corrected me.
"Oh right, I for got to mention, if we can see her ghost then-"
"No!" She cut me off.
"Dont you dare say what you're about to say!"
"Neesa I-"
"No, she's not dead she can't be!" Her eyes filled with tears, up to the point where she couldn't see.
I rubbed my eyes and Alli went away. I then hugged Neesa.
"We need to find out everything!" She said.
"I know! But how?"
"Do you know exactly where you were when Alli went missing?"
"Yeah!"
"Well the, that's where we start looking."
"For?"
"Clues! Answers! And possibly Alli."
"Neesa-" I began.
"I know it's a ghost, but didn't yo say so your self that before you saw her last night, she was whispering for y'ou to help her?" Neesa cleverly stated.
"True."
"So we'll start we're she went missing, which is?"
"On the corner of Popple street, on the other side of the park across the road."
Neesa let out a giggle.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"Popple!" She replied with a laugh.
"You're such a weirdo!" I laughed, playfully pushing her head.
"But we can't tell anyone about this!" She said. "They would be completely against it and wouldn't let us do anything!"
"Agreed!" I replied.
