A/N: CPC IS BACK YAY

Jolie squeezed Nell's hand. Nell swallowed, looking away.

They were finally at the Lace Palace. It was on top of a hill, overlooking the Lace kingdom. It was a great view, a pretty kingdom. Nell couldn't believe she was really here. It was a dream no longer.

"Are you ready?" Jolie asked.

Nell nodded. And the two entered the palace, lace doors swinging open.

"Girls!" the Lace Queen clapped her hands. "Welcome, Welcome!"

The king and queen were standing there, big grins on their faces. There was lace all across the hall, including the carpet, and covering the windows. Lace maids bowed.

"Nell!" the Lace Queen raced over. "So good to see you again!"

"How was the trip?" the king asked.

"Um..." Nell looked down, awkwardly. "Good."

"Lovely to hear," the queen clapped. "Would you like something to eat?"

"Sure," Nell replied.

She was seated at the table, a lace tablecloth on top. Jolie sat next to her.

A maid offered her tea and biscuits, which she accepted. Of course, the plates had lace as well.

Nell took a few of the biscuits. More food was placed in front of her; chips, sandwiches, pizza, soup, etc...

So much food... she blinked.

"Anything else you want?" the king asked.

"I think we're good, Dad," Jolie chuckled.

Nell hid her burning cheeks, Jolie's parents standing nearby. She sipped some of her tea, silently wishing Jolie's parents would stop hovering over her like hawks. They were nice, of course, if not a little overbearing.

"Oh, Nell, I'll show you to your room after this!" The queen clapped.

"You've made me a room already?" Nell asked.

"Well, we got a little over excited," the king admitted.

"You can let us know if you don't like it!" the queen added.

Nell eyed Jolie.

"They just kept going on about 'having another daughter'," Jolie admitted, chuckling. "Don't mind them."

Nell focused on her tea. It was like the CPC all over again! Perhaps home wasn't that far after all...

...

"Here it is!!!!"

Nell looked around the moderate bedroom; there was a large bed in the corner, lace curtains covering the window. A small desk was sitting there, with a few books. There were pillows all across the bed.

"Is this room okay?" the queen asked. "Jolie told us you like to sleep, so we made sure to put lots of pillows here." She pointed to the closet. "There's extra blankets in there, too..." she gasped. "Oh, this room isn't too big or too small, is it?"

"It's fine," Nell assured her.

She just wanted to be alone, more than anything. She was so exhausted.

"Great to hear," the queen clapped her hands. "I'll leave you to settle in, but don't hesitate to come and see me if you need anything!"

Nell felt a warmth in her chest. It was just like being at the club, everyone offering a helping hand.
