Chapter 3 - What happened with you?

With Sky on the other hand..

Sky had gotten back from a long day of university classes and contemplated on looking for Boyfriend, but after further thought and realizing she didn't have the courage to do so. In addition to the growing list of reasons why she shouldn't, it was coupled with her homework.

Next morning, she was running late for...god knows what and got up in a hurry, made herself a sandwich and ran out of the door, ignoring her family.. And completely ignoring the fact that it was a Saturday.

Steve looked bewildered because of how fast she slammed the door, and so did the rest.

"And where is she going? Don't tell me she's going to meet up with that boy again!" Though you couldn't hear it in his voice, he was worried for his daughter and how this might turn out.

"I wouldn't be surprised, we're a strangeass family ha!" Tankman, or Sergeant John said.

"As if facin' demons and drug traffickers in the city wasn't bad enough..."

While Sky was running, she just realized

She actually had forgotten that it was a Saturday!

Sky just stood there in awkward realization before running like a mad cheetah on cocaine, not paying any attention as to where she was heading (which could've been into the middle of the road for all she knew!) but was stopped as she bumped into a person with a black hoodie with their back turned to her

Sky ate the bread at once and thought "Garcello? Not it couldn't be... he's dead, but! Wait...

"I think it's him!"

Boyfriend kneeled and grabbed the remaining few of his items which were splattered on the pavement, today was absolute hell for the innocent rapper. First, his own girlfriend left him for his fan, got cursed to be under her control and now nobody except Tabi, even remembers him!

He let out a sigh and muttered to himself.

"Dammit, maybe I should've taken Tabi's deal up after all...."

He sighed quietly before looking up to see...

Sky!?

Boyfriend booked it instantly and ran off into the middle of the street frightened and shocked, why's Sky here? To be fair, it was in the middle of the street, but what was she even doing here?! Eventually, all of these thoughts went by the wayside as he just ran as much as he could.

"W-Wait! Come back! I just wanted to see you!" Sky chased after boyfriend for a short while before the both of them got tired and eventually slowed down a little bit.

"Dammit! Out of everybody else, why did she came to see me?!" But soon, Boyfriend's chase comes to a halt as he is met with a dead end "Hell! Okay Boyfr- Keith.... You can do this.. Face your fears!" He sighed and turned his attention to meet Sky, the latter seeming rightfully concerned.

"Calm down Boyfriend! I don't want to hurt you, okay? But- what happened to you?!"

Boyfriend was shocked at how Sky remembered him even after how Girlfriend's curse disfigured him so much but then again - It is Sky after all.. And the fact she still called him by that name irked him, but she couldn't have known. So he decided not to chide her on that.

Boyfriend's voice was hoarse and shaky, it was like after what that demon had done to him he had almost lost the ability to speak at all but with all the energy he had left in him he mustered up some words.

"Even if ya were' just trying to help.. You shouldn't be here Sky, it's dangerous! And.. I'd rather you just call me Keith now.."

"It doesn't matter Boyfr- Keith! I was a bit worried and.. I came to see how you were doing and all of that..and find out if you felt better after I left you alone..."

'Keith' took off his hood and let out a sigh.

"Sky.. do you think i feel better? I-i found out that my.. My girlfriend was only using me..."

Sky was in shock. No way what she was hearing was true. No way did that bitch who claimed to love "Keith" so much just abandon him like that, Sky was right with her questioning GF's faithfulness

"What-?! No way! No fucking way... how- why- how could she just leave you like that?! After all you've done-"

"It doesn't even matter anymore Sky" 'Keith' sat down on the side of the pavement, head in his hands. "Nobody else even remembers me anymore..."

"But I do!"

"I think you're taking advantage of the situation here sky.."

"No! Absolutely not! I was just saying.. I still remember you!"

'Keith' sighed deeply into his palms and just stared at the ground below deep in thought, trying to think of something to say to her.

"But there's guys better than me! Why did you need to look for me at all?!"

"Y-you're right.. But the truth is I care about you even after that incident and.. I haven't noticed anybody else being better at all...'

'Keith' sighed and started to ponder a bit into his thoughts. Perhaps he could trust Sky for once, after all she was the only one who cared about him and remembered him at the moment.

"Sorry about my assumptions, Sky, you seem like someone I could trust, I guess.."

"Of course I'd help you Keith! I care about you, after all" Sky smiled benignly at 'Keith' and extended her hand out to him.

'Keith' shook Sky's hand and pulled his hood back up.

"Thanks so much sky.. I don't know how i can repay you"

"Hahaha! It's alright Keith, just let me know if you need anything"

'Keith' got up and felt his stomach rumbling, he needed to eat or else he'd starve 'to death'.. He didn't know if he could actually still die even though he was controlled by a demon - speaking about it, the curse! He had completely forgotten about it.

"H-hey Sky, could you invite me to dinner or something? I'm starving..."

"Yup! Let's go back to my house, i just hope my family doesn't mind you too much"

Back at Sky's house...

Sky opened the door with 'Keith' by her side and.. The first thing done is a bunch of guns pointed at him. 'Keith' Was scared shitless because of how everybody for some reason pointed weapons at him for whatever crime he could've committed. Maybe they thought he was an actual 'monster' that followed Sky around. Maybe they recognized him somehow... No, it couldn't be.

Then, multiple familiar voices spoke

"WHY THE FUCK DID YOU MADE MY DAUGHTER CRY!?"

Sky was confused and turned to look at the scene right in front of her and god.

"Mom! I told you to not greet our guests like that!"

"Didn't he make you sad after what he told you? Yea, he was my friend but my sister is more important to me"

Sky wasn't the only one confused as hell, 'Keith' was mind boggled, what could he have said before- Oooooooh....

"Uhm Sky.. what are they talking about?" 'Keith' turned to Sky with a confused look.

"Don't play idiot, you got so fuckin' harsh with her you sent her to shit"

"Dad! It's fine, we've made up now"

"Are you both sure?"
