I was not prepared for the loud ringing of the alarm clock and at such I was jerked awake from sleep and quickly rubbing my eyes to take a look at my surroundings.
There was tiny rays of sunlight peeking through my lilac coloured windows, then my eyes did a quick sweep around my small but comfortable room painted with off white and lilac and then my eyes wondered to the cute little wall clock hanging right next to my little butterfly sketch
A small smile spread on my lips before my eyes went back to the clock
"Oh shi- butterflies are pretty" I frowned at the fact that I still couldn't bring myself to curse but the time was 7:30 and I had less than one hour to get ready for my job as the interior designer of the cruise hotel.
A job that i barely earn enough to survive in New York.
Immediately Jumping out of my bed I rushed to the bathroom, taking off my nightie and moving to the shower but paused looking at my reflection on the mirror. Let's face it I'm fat, I had somewhat big arms with thick thighs and wide hips which my sister said makes me look like a whale and I believe her. Turning to my side I took a quick view of my ass, i always had a fat ass and a small trim waist which I got when I was going on a diet.
But my chocolate skin was flawless, I was born with coal black hair, hazel coloured eyes long lashes with a button nose.
I knew I had one dimple when I smiled and heart shaped lips. Maybe I wasn't that bad looking as i thought
Feeling good about myself today I took a quick shower and brushed my hair which decided to stay in curls today and put on light pink lipstick
After moisturizing my skin I put on matching underwear and my gold chain that I got from frida my best friend, smiling at the thought I looked at the lock and it said 8:10, I hurriedly put on my outfit which consisted of a knee length bodycon dress and white blocked heels.
Feeling insecure about my look, I sighed and went into the kitchen grabbing a slice of buttered cheese bread and running out locking my door behind me
.
I walked to the elevator greeting the old lady that stays next door to me and once I got on it I pressed the button to the last floor entering the streets and hailing a cab
Turning on my phone I saw that I had 10 minutes to get there and the building was a 5 minute drive, I could have walked but I was running late. Immediately the cab stopped at the entrance of the large glass tower I stepped out and payed the driver stepping into the building I walked into the reception.
"Well anna, this is it" I mumbled to myself.
Another hectic day!
