Izabelah's POV
We'd had a fairly quiet day or so, while I just worked constantly on trying to track down my locket, the amount of magick and emotions stored in it meaning that it should be easy to pinpoint, but every time I caught it, it was moved, or blocked. But I recognised the magick, I just couldn't place it.
Dae came in, pouring us both a drink as his phone rang. "You're interrupting my drink." Pause. "Katherine. Where are you?"
I dropped my spell, walking over to him and motioning for him to put her on speaker. This ought to be good. "Lurking outside your window, pining away. Which is now gross cuz you're with my Grams."
"What do you want, Katerina?" I asked, wiping away a small trickle of blood as it started falling down.
"I'm homesick, Grams. What have I missed besides you using way to much magick, I can hear your thready heartbeat from here, Iz."
I sighed, knowing she was right. I had no control and to be able to have enough focus on one thing, I had to use everything I had. My body was straining, which meant I kept passing out. "Well, Stefan and Rosie's still Klaus' little prisoner and Elena still thinks that she can save him and no one, not even really me, has thought about you since you left."
"And what about you, Grams? That's the last tie to your sister, and you were closer to this doppelganger than you were to Rose back in 1864, are you really giving up?"
Never. "I haven't given up on Rosie, maybe Stefan after he stabbed me through the chest millimetres from my heart, though. I don't know where she is and I don't have enough control to track them properly, because hey, I need the locket that Stefan took when he attacked me." She made a thoughtful noise. "But you do. Are you trailing them, Kattia?"
"A hybrid who wants me dead, his side kick whos off the rails and a human that's being used like a living blood bag? I couldn't be further away."
We both laughed at that. "Which means you know exactly where they are."
"All I know is that Klaus pitched a fit once his hybrids didn't work." Because they need doppelganger blood. "Now he's looking for answers." Give me my sister back, I may be inclined to tell him, and then kill him once and for all.
Damon was still sceptical. "And how do you know that?"
"Spend 500 years running, and there will be a few people looking out for you along the way that are looking out for you." She told him, and I could hear the smirk in her voice.
"Is that what you're doing?" I asked her, feeling Damons head rest on top of mine as I rested it on his shoulder. "Looking out for my great niece and his brother?"
"Maybe, maybe not. I'm conflicted."
One last question, the most important. "Where are they?" But she just hung up. Well, looks like a little Petrova location spell was in order.
"Rise and shine, sleepy head." I told Elena, going into her room and opening the curtains with a wave of my hand. I was determined today and I was going to use that to my advantage.
Except Dae followed me in, and she pulled the covers up over her head. "Aah! What are you doing?! Get out!"
"I am really not interested in you when my girlfriend is currently wearing a dress that only comes half way down her thighs, Elena." Oh, and thank you for making me regret it, not that I didn't love my summer dresses. This one was a dark red, with a halterneck. Rosie wasn't much of a dress girl, but I loved them.
She rolled over and checked her alarm clock. "6am?Seriously? Do you really have nothing better to do at 6am? You're incredibly smitten with each other, go watch the Falls together or something."
