Ariel gaped at the size of the amusement park when Jake pulled into the lot for parking.

"We are going to King's Point?" Ariel asked, a little shocked.

"Yeah, It's my day off, and I haven't been here since I was a kid. I thought I would share a part of my childhood with you today."

"Isn't it gonna be crowded today?" Ariel asked as Jake shut off the car.

"Nah, it is Monday. It shouldn't be that bad. Besides, everyone should be at work or school."

"I always wanted to go to an amusement park," Ariel admitted, "The roller coasters look really fun."

"Then pick one that you want to ride first." Jake said.

"Can you handle roller coasters?" Ariel asked, a smirk growing on her face.

"You bet I can, are you thinking that I can't?" Jake teased.

"Well humans are easily scared." Ariel smirked teasing him back.

"Oh really? Well I'm going to prove to you that I'm not afraid of anything." Jake said.

"Not afraid of anything huh? That I don't believe. I could sense your fear earlier when I tried to get out of the car." Ariel said.

" Well that's different." Jake said scratching the back of his head, "I didn't want you to leave me like everyone else always does." Jake said taking Ariel's hand.

Ariel smiled up at him," Will you tell me about I later?" She asked him curious about why it scared him so much.

"Since you told me about your past I'll tell you about mine." He smiled back at her.

Ariel smiled happily, "thank you. I'll explain more of my past layer then. That way it's fare." Ariel loved the idea of the two of them getting to know eachother better.

Ariel looked around for the biggest fastest ride then found one that she thought was perfect. It was super high and super fast. It also went upside down a bunch of times.

"I pick that one." Ariel said pointing at it.

Jake looked up at the roller coaster Ariel was pointing at. He didn't like that it went upside down a lot but Ariel looked so excited to ride it so he didn't say anything to her.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes definitely. And I wanna ride in the front." Ariel smiled happily at him. She had never been on a roller coaster before but it looked like a lot of fun.

Jake looked up at it again,"ok, if that's what you want then we will ride that one." He smiled at her.

Ariel jumped happily then kissed him. Jake smiled at her again then they got in line.

The line felt like it lasted forever but Jake and Ariel didn't care. They just liked that they were together. When they finally got on the ride Ariel jumped in the very front. Jake smiled at her excitement and sat right beside her holding her hand. Jake didn't like rides that went upside down a lot but he didn't say anything aboutit to Ariel because of how excited she was about riding this roller coaster.

The ride started and and Jake tightened his grip on Ariel's hand. He hated it when the ride went upside down. Ariel looked over at him. She could sense his fear and felt bad that she made him ride this with her. Ariel wanted to help him feel better but couldn't think of a way how to. Finally Ariel thought of something perfect. She looked at Jake again and realized that his eyes were closed tight. Ariel pulled his face to her and kissed him. He opened his eyes for a minute then closed them again. Jake kept ahold of her hand and kept kissing her. Not only did it keep his mind off the roller coaster but he also loved kissing her. He was definitely going to kiss her more often. He loved it and Ariel loved it too. Ariel stopped to catch her breath and smiled at Jake. Jake smiled back and kissed her again. This time they didn't stop till the roller coaster stopped. When they pulled back they smiled at eachother.

"Next time you should tell me that your afraid." Ariel said as they searched for another coaster to ride.

"I wasn't scared." Jake said then looked at Ariel.

"Lier, I could sense your fear. I can also sense when people are lying." Ariel said.

"Maybe we should pick another one that I'm afraid of." Jake said changing the subject slightly.

"Why?" Ariel asked.

"Well if you're going to kiss me every time I get scared then I should get scared more often." Jake said and smiled at her.

Ariel blushed and looked at him.

"You are so cute." He said picking her up and spinning around. He kissed her again and then put her down. Ariel blushed but smiled at him.

Jake looked around and noticed an ice cream stand, "wait here." He told Ariel then went over to the stand. He ordered an ice cream cone for the two of them to share then went back over to Ariel. When he got back to Ariel there were four guys hitting on her.

"Awww come on sexy just come hang out with us for a bit. We can play a game." One of the guys said holding her by her chin so she was forced to look at him. One of the other guys was playing with her hair. Jake got angry and dropped both of the ice cream cones and running over to Ariel. He punched the guy who was holding her Ariel's chin. One of the other guys hit Jake then Ariel kicked the guy. Jake pulled Ariel to him and held he tight.

"Stay away from my girlfriend!" He yelled at them angrily. Ariel let her eyes glow red to scare them off knowing that no one would believe a word they said because they were totally drunk.

Jake loosened his grip on Ariel and kissed her,"are you alright?" He asked her.

"I'm fine. Are you alright. You're the one that got hit." Ariel said looking at Jake were the guy hit him.

"I'm fine. I can take a hit trust me. I may not be a vampire like you but I'm still pretty tough." He said whispering the vampire part in her ear so that no one else would hear.

Ariel smiled up at him," ok just know that if you ever do get hurt I can heal you." She said.

"How?" He asked curiously.

Ariel put her finger to her lips, "That's my secret." She said.

Jake smiled at her then they went and rode more rides.
