Summary:
Enid spends Christmas with the Addams, kind of by accident.
-
"Merry Christmas, Wednesday." Enid says through a smile, sitting up in her bed. A chill runs through Wednesday's heart. Enid's hair is ruffled and her smile is lopsided.
"Christmas is dreadful." Wednesday says.

It's snowing and raining at the same time outside the Addams Family Manor when she arrives. She's sure the family finds the weather perfect for the holidays in their own strange way.
Walking up the long walkway to the black front door of the tall, black-bricked castle that Wednesday lives in is exhausting to Enid, especially given the weather.
Before she can doubt herself and run away for the second time today, she knocks.
She's met with a tall, Frankenstein looking man who only grunts, tugs her inside by the sleeve of her raincoat, and hobbles away.
Enid is left to stare around the foyer, the winding stairwell that goes up probably five floors, all of the black coats and shoes piled up in a basket next to the entrance, and of course; a collection of knives where a normal home might have umbrellas.
"Enid?"
The sound of her roommate's voice pulls her from her trance.
"What are you doing here? Are you hurt?" Wednesday speaks before Enid can answer, a scrunch in her eyebrows that tells Enid she is actually confused.
Enid rocks on her feet, suddenly feeling stupid for just showing up on Wednesday's doorstep. "No, I'm okay..." she trails off, and Wednesday steps closer to her.
"You have snow in your hair. I think it's frozen." Wednesday observes, poking it and nodding in confirmation.
"Well, you have a long driveway."
The corner of Wednesday's mouth turns up slightly in amusement. Enid always feels so proud to get this small reactions from the usually stone-faced girl.
"Yes." Wednesday nods. "Your pink coat will look odd with the rest of them." She adds.
While Enid is used to Wednesday's lack of information and overall non-emotional responses, she feels like she needs to actually be invited in before interrupting her family's Christmas.
"I can stay with you? You aren't even going to ask me why?" Enid's voice shakes, she couldn't possibly take it if she were told to leave another house.
Wednesday shakes her head. "I don't particularly care. You are here. Plus, Mother saw you in a vision about two hours ago."
Enid shrinks in on herself. She doesn't care.
Wednesday grunts quietly, Enid has been here mere minutes and she's already upset her. "It is not that I don't care why you ran away from your house, Enid. You would have told me already if you wanted me to know. You have a terrible habit of rambling and over-sharing."
"Right," Enid nods, smiling. For some reason she takes it as a compliment from Wednesday. She takes a second to look at her roommate, who has her hair out of her signature braids, and is wearing a black, knee length, long sleeve dress.
How did Enid not notice that the second she walked in?
"My Mother and Father bought me a new guillotine in exchange for dressing like this while our family visits." Wednesday explains, and Enid chuckles.
