Summary:

Tyler slowly comes closer to her. "Oh come on don't be like that. Just give me a chance, it's not like you have people knocking your door down to win your affections."

Annoyed with the conversation she just blurts out the first thing her mind came up with.

"As a matter of fact, I am currently involved in a relationship. Not that it matters for you to know"

Wednesday enlists Enid's help to get Tyler off her back (fake dating au)

———————————————————-

Wednesday rips another piece of paper from her typewriter, crumpling it up. She can't seem to figure out how to conclude the falling action in her novel. As she starts putting in another piece of paper, she hears something by her door.

She looks over to see a folded piece of paper slithered under. Wednesday rolls her eyes, thinking back to the birthday party her classmates sprung on her. The raven-haired girl picks it up and heads to her desk, not caring for the message at all. She opened it expecting more magazine clippings but was met with blood red ink.

'Crackstone crypt. 11pm.' was all the note had said. It intrigued her to say the least. Hopefully this time, it was someone who had information about her investigation.

Wednesday looks at the picnic in front of her. Confused about what is happening.

"Do you like it?" Tyler asks. She turns to meet his eyes, watching hope shine in them. She keeps her stare till she sees that hope dim.

"What is this supposed to be?" She looks back, eyes shifting from the lights hung up to the projector and blankets.

"Our date." He smiles at her, and it immediately makes her feel repulsed.

"What do you mean our date? I never agreed to anything like that." Tyler's smile dropped momentarily being followed by a smile bigger than the last. "Well since you're here, and it's just us, let's make this our first date."

Tyler starts to walk to where the blankets have been laid down in the crypt. Wednesday almost has the urge to laugh. If she had been more of an expressive person, she definitely would have. The idiocracy of this kid makes her hum quietly to herself in delight.

"No." Tyler freezes.

"What?"

"Tyler, if I have to repeat myself again, I will sever your left ear."

Tyler quickly raises a hand to touch his ear. "What do you mean no? I set all of this up, which took hours by the way, even planned for us to watch a movie that will truly terrify you"

Wednesday just stares at him. "I don't care, I didn't ask you to set this up. Moreover, I have no interest in going on a date with you.

"What about all the signals you've been giving me?" That sentence actually made Wednesday freeze for a second. She can feel the amusement leaving her quickly turning into anger

"Are you an idiot? When have I ever given you any indication of a signal? Just because I talk to you sometimes doesn't mean I like you"

"Well then go on a date with me and I will show you how likable I can be."

"No, ask again and I will stab you aiming for your femoral artery and watch as you bleed out." Wednesday slightly smirks at the thought.

Tyler slowly comes closer to her. "Oh come on don't be like that. Just give me a chance, it's not like you have people knocking your door down to win your affections."
