Daniel was next in line. she was calm. almost no anxiousness in her head. she wished the tall boy behind her good luck and he returned the wish. she pulled the heavy doors open about and inch before pausing and turning around suddenly. she hugged the boy goodbye tightly
"it was nice getting to know you on the walk here, Chad. I think I'm honestly gonna miss you" she said hugging him
"likewise. I will miss you too, Daniel" he said letting her out of the hug
she turned back to the door and stepped in. hesitation now filled her head. but she knew what had to happen
she placed her warm hands into the shallow water. the water turned to a lightly colored mud and her eyes of the same color widened. she knew her faction immediately since that was the symbol for that faction; earth faction. she entered the portal that appeared and was greeted by a crowd of hundreds, all with the faction symbol on their hands
a few minutes passed and another figure came through the portal...
