The nerds

In the silent aisle
between two shelves,
They exchange a smile
Then grin to themselves.

But for the same books,
They argue and fight.
They exchange angry looks,
Yet settle the matter at that site.

On a hot day of June
They cherish the canopy
Together at the time of noon
Under an apple tree.

They discuss the strange Laws
Of Science, especially physics
They argue on merits and flaws
Of applications of Thermodynamics.

In the well-lit reading room,
On the old wooden furnitures,
They sit together and groom
Their creativity, writing caricatures.

They converse about Shakespeare
And his dramas and Wordsworth too.
They confess every sorrowful tear
That they shed as fans so true.
