Tom was still smiling like an idiot as he removed his arms from a sleeping Neko omega who whines before cuddling with the closest thing to him, which was a pillow.
Tom smiled at his softly and pressed a small kiss to his forehead before standing and leaving the room.
He pressed his wand to his mark summoning the inner circle.
When he entered the meeting room, his most trusted followers all stood there.
Bella and Cissa still looked sad and Bella still had a slight guilty look on her face, but he knew that that would change soon.
"I would like to announce that I have found my mate. And he is the most unexpected person I'd ever thought my mate would be." Tom said s d the inner circle smiled except for two.
When the rest noticed this their smiled vanished.
"My mate is Harry Potter. He had multiple blocks, spells, and potions placed in him. He had lost his pups and we didn't know he had had a miscarriage until tonight when I went to see him for myself." Tom said, a sad look on his face.
"We had a goblin remove everything on him s d his appearance changed, so I have a feeling he is not actually Harry Potter." Tom said.
The inner circle sat stunned upon hearing all of this.
But they didn't question their lord.
"I'm going to have Griphook come tomorrow and run an inheritance test on him. See his true heritage and creator and abilities now that he has had his creature inheritance." Tom said.
The circle nodded.
"You are all dismissed. Severus stay a moment more. Please." Tom said, surprising everyone as they were leaving at the fact that he had said please to a death eater.
When everyone was gone he turned to the dungeon bat.
"Sev, I know you are a spy for the light and j know about the vow you took to protect Harry. I also know your under a vow of secrecy, but now that I know, you can talk about it." Tom said, shocking Severus at every word he spoke.
"My lord I am sorry. I didn't want to betray you but it was the only way to protect Harry. His mother was my best friend and I had to fulfill her last wish that she wrote in her will for me. Please my lord, I'm so very sorry." Sev said and what surprised the dark lord were the tears in his eyes.
"Sev, your not in trouble. I understand. But I am hoping that since Harry is my mate, that you will become my spy once again." Tom said.
Severus looked up stunned, and he was relieved when he saw the truth in his masters eyes.
He was getting another chance.
"Of course I will my lord. I'll do anything for you and to protect Harry." Sev said and smiled, a true genuine one that Tom hadn't seen in years.
"Thank you old friend. I couldn't ask for a better friend than you." Tom said and pulled Sev into a hug, shocking the black haired male even more now.
"Have a good night Sev. I'll see you tomorrow." Tom said. Sev nodded and apparated away.
Tom walked back to his room and was surprised to see his mate was not in bed, and he began to panic before a weight was suddenly on his back and giggles rang through the room.
"Hello Tommy." Harry said sweetly.
"Hello Little Kitten." Tom said and turned when Harry slid off his back.
"Let's go to bed now Tommy. Don't leave me again." Harry said slightly pouting, then yawning, causing Tom to coo at him.
"Alright then, let's go." Tom replied.
They cuddled together in the bed and Tom looked at Harry who's eyes were drooping.
"I know you said it earlier, but I think I love you too Kitten." Tom said and planted a small kiss on the nekos nose.
Together they laid in silence and then sleep overtook them, and they had the first night of dreamless sleep they've had in a while
