Just keep on running. Don't look back or else that thing is going to kill you. The last time I had ever heard that noise was when I had safety and was surrounded with my friends. But now they're dead. I didn't even get to look at the hideous monster, I just ran away cowardly. Really, I was the special one. I was the one who could've killed them but I didn't have any experience. Now I do, but it's rusty. I was truly a coward and now I have no one because of me. Shoot, I can hear the mechanics. That awful whirring. The monster came closer and I was getting slower. The only way I could survive out of this is if I do what I do in situations like this. Use lightning. I stopped running. The monsters clicking stopped too. Did the vile thing scare itself off? Then huge metal claws started shaking the ground. The thing was growing like all the others. This is when they died. Well, I can't really say they died I ran off at that point but I haven't seen my friends since then. I just stared at it, almost clueless of what to do. I was tired, sweaty, and I just want to figure out what was going on. How I even got here, how come I couldn't remember my name, and why were those peo- friends protecting me? Why am I here? All I know about myself is i'm a 16 year old guy who was put in this awful forest with no clue in what to do. It was a bad idea to think about unanswered questions. The monster, big and green. gurgling and spitting, clicking and whirring had caught up to me. This is how I die. Clueless of why and protector of elements. "Well, what are you doing just standing there?! Just kill me already." The disgusting thing just stared at me with three eyes. Now was my chance- I surged all my energy and shot the monster with lightning. It screeched and still didn't do anything. It got near me and this time I used fire. I shot it out of my hands for at least two minutes and nothing happened to it. I was about to give in to the feeling of sleep but I had to figure this thing out. Last resort, ice. Sounds stupid but it could puncture it. I finally blasted ice shards at the creature. Nothing happened. I almost gave in but the creature was alive and clicking. It got closer and I finally just accepted fate, Just kill me. The vile thing just kept staring. Did it want something? "What do you want from me?!" It moved closer and I was about to back away when I realized the noises stopped. What's going on? Soon the creature stood close to three inches away from me. It wanted me to do something but what? The creature lowered its head to my hand. Does it want me to pet it? Oh- oh no, I am not petting that. It rested its head on me. Oh- ok well this is sudden, i'm afraid if I move my head i'm going to get destroyed so um... "H-hey can you please get off? I mean- you know I have some questions I have to figure out and this isn't helping. But please don't kill me cause- well I don't prefer to die at this moment- but I can't change your mind" The thing just sat down and didn't move. "So... " It just growled. "You know- i'm cool with this, that's ok. Even though you just tried to kill me." I felt like the thing wasn't going to hurt me so I did what any stupid person would do- I pet it. This is not as bad as I thought it would be. "You're pretty furry for a ball of metal." I started examining the creature. It had three eyes, was green, lots of metal, even more fur, but what really caught my eye was a label on the side of its body. Nothing painted- more like something burned on."BetaAB 209." The clicking started again and a low growl. I should've just left it alone but an urge pulled me into touching. The creature spun around and stared at me. Something was wrong- these things lived in the real world. The real world, Avil. He was only 14. I miss him so much- I didn't even get to say goodbye. Now I won't ever see him again. Back to reality, the monsters were peaceful- not meant to harm anyone. "What did they do to you? How did this happen?" All of a sudden I felt chills and then it hit me like a tidal wave. "Jotham." That's my name! I stared back at the monster with my huge green eyes and I smiled and said, "Hey, you nasty creature, we got a few people to save." Everything makes more sense now. Those people that saved me lived in this forest for years and even better- they're not dead. I climbed on the monster's back and he was fast let me tell you. "You know what, BetaAB 209 sounds boring. How about Gans? It means to derive evil spirits away." Gans just shrieked in... agreement? I don't know. But that was the beginning of a long journey for me and Gans. Oh wait before I leave- I just want to let you know- dragons, yeah they're pretty awesome, ride one if you ever have the chance. Don't forget about your powers and the wonders you can do with them, because the only way you're reading this right now is of our world is in great danger. They've put you in the forest- the forest of misery. Find Gans and tell him your Jotham's brother- he won't be as disgusting as I described- he changed. He is... well, I did tell you how much I liked dragons. He looks like a giant black and blue dragon and luckily he is. That body was killing him slowly. He'll help you with everything. Find Jean, Isabelle, and Adele; they're the survivors. You're humanity's last hope, by the time you read this i'll already be dead. I had to sacrifice myself for you. Avil, you're the controller of minds. You're the savior.
