chapter 3 Friend and Home

(Amber's POV)

They were just staring at me. I couldn't even hide, everytime I unfurled wings to rap them around myself they just stared more. "You know we've never seen a creature quite like you before, right?" Said a voice. I felt my self shiver from ears to tail when I heard that voice. It sounded so soft and raged, sweet and evil, angelic and demonic all at the same time.

Madison Devine, head scientist at 'Hollow Labs'. She had light pale skin and dark brown hair. She wore a long white lab coat and a light blue shirt underneath, with black pants and red shoes. She wore glasses and every so often would push them up when she talked. The only thing unnatural were her yollow eyes. "Y-you tell me t-that all the time." I managed to stutter out glaring at her through the bars in the cell.

"Well you're lucky today, you're going to get to see an old friend of yours." She said smiling. My ears went up and I thought about who it could be. 'It could be Asher! No, he died in the war.' I thought sadly, 'It could be one of the kids. Or Willow or Luka!' But I couldn't think long. Three guys came in, one unlocked the cell door and the other two carried something. You might be thinking why don't I run out, well I had a shock collar on. I tried but I got shocked.

The two guys carrying something walked in. I stole a glance at Madison and saw she was still smiling. She knew I wouldn't like it even if it weren't my family. The two guy left and the cell was locked, and all three guys went away. "Look at your new friend Amber I know you'll like him." She said smirking.

I looked at what they put in the cell with me and saw it was someone covered in bandages stained red with blood. "What the Fuck did you do!" I growled at Madison quickly going over to the person. I lifted his messy blond hair and almost screamed. 'Sato!' I thought. Asher's older brother. "Don't you like what we did to him? He hurt your family right? I thought you would have been happier." She said....Still. Smiling.

I ran up to the bars and tried to reach her throat. "Why would I be fucking happy?!" I growled, my sharp teeth showing "He is fucking HUMAN you piece of shit! Just like you!" I was so mad. How could she do that to Sato! He might have hurt us but that doesn't mean this bitch can hurt him. Suddenly I heard a small sound from behind me.

I looked and saw Sato move a bit. I glanced back but Madison was gone. I rushed over to Sato, his hair was a mess and covered in his blood. "How dare that bitch lay a hand on you!" I growled under my breath. I was going to kill her for what she's done.

(Axle's POV)

I pulled into the drive way and opened the car door. Luna got out and ran into the house to get our uncle Luka, I looked into the back and took a good look at dad's condition. Luna had tried her best to bandage what she could with the first aid kit. He was covered in the blanket Luna had put in the back just in case. His dark blue hair had traces of blood and dirt in it. He was shivering. I placed my hand on his head to smooth out his hair.

I couldn't help but jump when Luka touched my shoulder. "Hey, it's ok. Just me." He said, his voice quite as always. Luka had this thing where he was always quite. That's how he always won fights. He handed me a jacket "Help me put that on your father and we can bring him inside and put him on the couch." I nodded.

(Time skip to an hour later)

I walked out side and saw the girl from next door, Alex walking outside with her mom. She saw me and waved, I waved back. "Hey Mr. Jackson!" She said smiling, Yeah I couldn't go around saying my last name was moon. "Hello Alex, Mrs. Halley. How are you two today?" I said walking over. "We're good dear, and you know you can call me Jullie." She said, "Who was that guy Luka was carrying into your house?" Alex said suspiciously and Jullie smacked her on the head.

See Alex knew we werewolves. Luna told her and I didn't think it was a good I idea, I still don't. I don't trust her. She's human, for all we know she could be like Leo. Suddenly I thought I saw something appear and disappear just as quickly in one of their houses windows. 'What was that' I thought staring up at the window.

Jullie started walking away but Alex stayed. "Mr. Jackson." She was looking around "Do you know the story of 'The winds fight'?" I was surprised by this. It was an old tale wolf pups were told "What do you mean?" I asked and she looked up. "The winds were gods, right? We're they real?" She asked and looked me in the eyes. "If they were it was far before the wolf time. The only God I ever met was Ivy." I said, Now that I was thinking about her I wondered if she was still alive. Alex nodded and started to walk away. She glanced at our house and touched her bag, what was in there?
