CHAPTER 6 DESPERATE MEASURES

Darren POV

I drive to my castle in fury, how dare he get between us?! For a whole month I had my fourth and final consort empress, council member Sands better watch his back,

I spent days studying his habits and stomping grounds, everything was perfect, make him think that the meeting at the park was a coincidence, slowly and surely woo him, make him mine and then finally show him that I'm not some evil tyrant dragon lord who killed his brother but a ruler who did only what was necessary,

I park my car and slam the door shut in fury, and then I punch the door, sending it flying and now I have to get chase a new car to replace the one I destroyed, just great and it was his favorite one too, as I stomp into the castle angrily I'm greeted by my Beta/brother west, "I take it the date didn't go well?" My brother says as he looks behind me at the wreck which used to be our younger brothers car.

"Not now West." I growl, he holds his hands up in surrender, "Hey easy I didn't do anything." He says, I roll my eyes and get into the palace, "So what happened? I thought everything was going good." He says, "Everything was going good until one of the members of the dragon council Tyron Sands ruined everything. Turns out he's friends with Daniel and his family. He saw me and told Daniel who I was, ruining any chance I had with him."

I was furious, there was nothing in the information I gathered that said Sands was a friend of their family, this ruins everything, "Wait but we had no information that he was friends with their family, I can't believe it, well what are you going to do now?" West asks, I sigh very heavily, " I don't know what to do. I really like Daniel and if he'd just given me a chance to explain it to him then I'd hoped he would understand my side in what happened. But now that's all gone to crap." I growled out,

There must be something that I can do to get Daniel to listen to me, "What if we use the council member and kids against him? If we can force the council member Sands to talk you up and possibly get in good with the kids then he might be willing to hear you out at least," West offers and honestly it wasn't that bad of a plan, "Summon council member Sands and have him here by tomorrow." I smirked, this was a last resort and I was desperate, Daniel Gemson you will be mine, I smiled thinking, just then I heard the sounds of my consequences of earlier, "DARREN WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY CAR?!?!" Chase was pissed, I groaned then looked up at the grin on West's face, "Shut up west." I say annoyed, tonight was going to be a very long night.
