CHAPTER 7 THE SPEED EMPEROR'S LEGACY

Tyron POV

I was summoned to the royal palace by the emperor and I already had a very good idea as to what this was about, I'm now standing in the middle of the royal throne room, the emperor sitting on his throne with his brother's on their thrones and their wives seated as well, and the royal guards flanking me from both sides, I smirk at this,

This brat thinks he can intimidate me? He's got another thing coming, he is sorely mistaken to think that I'll just bow down before him, especially after the pain and heartache he's caused Daniel and the kids, Daniel is like a little brother to me to see him in pain severely angered me, Emperor Stoneright has sunk to an all new low to do what he did, but I wonder just how he was at the park the same time as Daniel?

I know for a fact that their meeting wasn't a coincidence, he must have found out about Daniel from his parents, if I had to guess he probably had him investigated and planned to seduce him then make him his final Consort empress, just then the emperor clears his throat, I look at him and he looks furious,

"Do you know why you've been summoned here today?" The Beta emperor west asks, "My guess is because I had revealed your brothers plot to Daniel." I smile, "Be very careful council member, you are not safe from me putting me in your place!" Darren growled, I smirk, what are you going to do? Force me to be mated to one of your royal guards so they can use me as a punching bag like the omega clan leaders? I don't think that would work out for you the way you want it to." I reply the last part coldly,

"How dare you accuse the royal guards of abuse?!" The youngest brother yells, "I've seen the bruises on the clan leaders, and when I asked them about it they were so scared to answer me, that was all the proof I needed, you claim not to be a tyrant but judging from what I've seen, the evidence proves otherwise." As I finish my sentence the emperor was in front of me in the blink of an eye, his hands inches away from coming to my throat, as he's about to grab my throat I smirk,

Before he can even comprehend what's happened, I'm already where he was, sitting on his throne, as he makes his move to grab where I was he grabbed nothing but thin air, he and everyone looks around confused, I smirk and say, "You know I must applaud your speed it's somewhat impressive, but it lacks real elegance." As I say this everyone is looking at me confused, "How did he-? He's faster than the emperor?" West's wife says, "Honestly that wasn't even my top speed if I'm being honest, I could have been at your throne before you could have even gotten up at your full speed." I say, they all look at me in shock and fear, I get up and walk towards the emperor,

"Did you ever wonder why I was picked as a council member? I'll let you in on a little secret, the other council members are cautious of me, because in the history of dragons, my speed is unparalleled, even in my dragon form my speed is unmatched, I could have killed all of you before you could even blink, but if I do that I'll be seen as a traitor to the other council members, so I'll give you one piece of advice, if you ever cause Daniel anymore pain than what you've already caused him I will not hesitate to eliminate you where you stand." I say coldly,

He doesn't even show a hint of fear as he says to me, "You're threat is heard but unneeded, my only goal is to let him see that I'm not some evil tyrant, and as for this abuse claim, it will be investigated thoroughly, and if the claim is true then I assure you that those involved will be punished swiftly and mercilessly." I could tell that he was sincere, well it means I probably won't have to kill him after all, maybe.

"Wait, I remember you now, you're the former emperor's grandson, Ezekiel Sands the speed emperor, he died and his son didn't want to have a royal family anymore so he created the dragon council twenty years ago." One of the royal guards says, and everyone looks at me in utter shock, "Yes that's true, but wrong at the same time, the former emperor wasn't my grandfather, he was my father, I am the one who founded the dragon council, I was only 16 at the time,  but the council members don't know because I used one of my father's guards to help me form it, and once I deemed myself an acceptable age I joined the council." Everyone looks at me in fear shock and admiration all in one.

"So now that you know the truth of who I am let me be clear on a few things, my father was the best emperor the dragon race ever had because he showed compassion, strength and wisdom to his people,

so far I've seen nothing from you but bullying, forcing the omega husbands and sons of the dead clan leaders who you killed to be mated to your personal guards and making them leave their homes and live in the same place as where the man who murdered their family and loved one's lives? You must be joking, and to top it off, they're being abused by their new mates?

Disgraceful, if you truly want to be a beloved emperor, then you've got a long road ahead of you. And if you're truly sincere about Daniel then you had best prove it to me, otherwise I will never let you within two miles of that boy and his children." As I Walk out I look back and I can tell that I got through to him, he'd best shape up if he wishes to be in Daniels live as well as be a great emperor like my father was, we will see.
