The date was December 18th, 2022. Let's see what's happening in Negi Root City today. Mu Tao (The Third Storm Rain Rin) and her twin brother Guo (The Third Storm Rain Len) were currently on the computer talking to Guo's girlfriend Mariko Akagi (Smiling Gumi) on Zoom.
Smiling Gumi: So, how are you guys doing?
The Third Storm Rain Rin: We're doing okay. Guo still can't move his left arm.
Smiling Gumi: How did you get that injury again?
The Third Storm Rain Len: Back in China, our neighborhood got raided.
The Third Storm Rain Rin: He got hurt trying to protect the neighbors. So now I had to protect him. When it was all over, I took him to the hospital. The doctor said they would amputate the arm.
The Third Storm Rain Len: But I don't want that. I want to move it again.
Smiling Gumi: Well, I have hope that you'll be able to move that arm.
The Third Storm Rain Len: *in Chinese* Thank you.
The Third Storm Rain Rin: And today is our 22nd birthday.
Smiling Gumi: Oh, happy birthday!
The Third Storm Rain Len: Thank you.
Smiling Gumi: Well, I'll be coming over to spend time with you two in a little while.
The Third Storm Rain Rin: Okay.
And so, Mu, Guo, and Mariko kept talking for a few more minutes until they all had to leave.
