Everyone learns something the hard way but Naruto learned everything the hard way.Like no walking in the dark or you get beat up.showing pain encourages the abuse.These are only some of the lessons that Naruto had to learn before he turned four.
It was late at night when Naruto finally arrived at home .His face was still covered in blood from his earlier beatings .Naruto wiped off the blood and layed down.
Two hours later
Smoke filled the room in which Naruto lived.The flames licked at the door to Naruto's room.A loud crash was then heard it echoed through the night.Naruto still asleep was quickly picked up by a stranger;the flames had now reached Naruto's bed eating away at the wood.
The stranger ran with Naruto across the village as the fire absorbed what used to be Naruto's home.
The stranger looked at the child and decided to take the child home with him.As he was heading to a nearby park bench Naruto woke in the man's arms and screamed.
"Hey it's okay little one your safe " the stranger whispered softly.The child calmed slightly but still was tearing up.The stranger took off the eerie anbu mask and gave a funny face to the child.Naruto laughed .They sat down on the nearby bench ,Naruto still in the strangers arms.Naruto looked at his savior.
"Name,what's your name?"Naruto asked, still tired.
"I go by weasel but you can call me itachi "As itachi faced Naruto the street light illuminated his face.The light seemed to dance in Itachi's black eyes as he introduced himself. His eyes revealed his true age .Itachi was 13 when he saved Naruto from the burning building,his hair just about as long as his shoulder blades.
Itachi suddenly stood up grabbing Naruto and shushinned to the hokage's office startling the child.Itachi placed back in his mask before the hokage and placed Naruto in a chair while waiting for the hokage to address him.
Soon soft snores were heard from the four year old boy as he sank back into his dreamless slumber.As soon as the snores began the hokage addressed Itachi.
"What happened?"the hokage asked, slightly revealing the worry in his voice.
"They torched the place, the flame almost reached him when I arrived."Itachi said, taking note of the hokage's worry.
"Thank you, you may be dismissed "the hokage responded.
That night was the first and last time Naruto saw Itachi until later in his life.No one knew who torched the place with Naruto inside but the situation just elevated from there.
