I heard my mother scream from the living room while I was cooking pasta I quickly left what I was doing to go check on her as I entered the living room I saw her on the phone with tears in her eyes
"No Marco that's not happening, lei è troppo giovane" my mom said to my dad

I watch my mom as she glares at the phone in defeat.
"What's wrong mama?" I ask while seeing her break down into tears
"Your dad wants you to get married to a company owner to save ours from falling apart" I stare at her in disbelief "what?" I say trying to hold in my tears.
"Don't worry I'll get you out of this situation my darling " but I surely know that my father was stubborn and won't let anyone's word besides his take place, as I thought about that my dad entered through the door with no sympathy in his eyes and says "pack your shit your going to live with your husband".
I walked to my room knowing that if I put up a fight my father will not change his mind even if I beg him to.
I get my suitcase out and shove my clothes with tears in my eyes knowing that my dad's actions didn't surprise me but affected me in a way it shouldn't.
I hear a soft knock on my door and it's my sister she comes in and hugs me tightly while saying that my husband is waiting downstairs.
As I walk down the stairs I see a man in his late twenties wearing a full black suit staring at me intensely with his deep hazel eyes as I reach the last step of the stairs, I feel my break get taken away from the intensity of his stare.
"Valentina sit down we have a few things to discuss" I hear my father's voice as I sit on the couch.
