POV: Hela
I jumped in his arms the moment I catched a glimpse of him. He's been going to concerts a lot lately that I couldn't attend due to my breast cancer.
"I missed you so much" he says in a voice baffled by tears of joy.
"I missed you more" I reply
We've been apart for a while now. God, I missed his smell.
He slowly lifts his head and gently places his hand on my cheek. He starts rubbing his thumb along my skin before leaning in for a kiss. I felt butterflies as his lips touched mine. I pulled away to look into his eyes, and I leaned in for another kiss.
I never get tired of his kisses.
We hold hands as we walk in the hospital's garden. We then sit on a bench to chat.
He brought me flowers, my favourites; red roses. I hold on to them tight as he plays with my hair. Or what's left of it at least.
"How are you doing darling?" He asks with hope in his blue salty eyes.
"I'm not getting any better my love. I don't think I'm staying here much"
"Don't say that babe. We're doing this, together" he smiles at me.
"Baby, please don't get your hopes up. I'm going die and I think you should think of it as if I'm just going to a better place where I'll be looking out for you"
He looks down, facing the ground. Tears start streaming down his face "I don't want to lose you" he whispers.
"You will never lose me. I'll always be here" I point to his heart.
I pull his head to my chest and whisper "I love you"
