After expanding the power of the Shadow Collective, Tomura Shigaraki finally felt ready to retake Terra Cyclonia from Ravess and Snipe. In the span of several days, Shigaraki assembled an army of High End Nomu with the assistance of Doctor Skaal. He also summoned Gigantomachia to his side. After gathering his forces, Shigaraki had Kurogiri warp the newly empowered Shadow Collective to Terra Cyclonia. As the Shadow Collective gathered in the outskirts of Terra Cyclonia, the Cyclonian Palace could be seen.
Shigaraki: The time has come for us to reclaim what is ours. It's time we showed Ravess and Snipe who the true leaders of the Cyclonian Empire are.
Toga: This is where the fun begins!
Dabi: Lead the way.
With that, Shigaraki gave the order to attack. In that moment, the Shadow Collective launched an all out attack on Terra Cyclonia. Hood led the swarms of High End Nomu into Terra Cyclonia. The two warring factions between Ravess and Snipe were quickly overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and power of the High End Nomu. Chaos soon engulfed Terra Cyclonia as the Shadow Collective waged all out war. In the streets of Terra Cyclonia, Shigaraki personally led the Shadow Collective in a frontal assault.
Mr. Compress: A grand performance awaits us!
Muscular: This is more like it! Let's see how many of these runts I can kill!
As Shigaraki led the charge, Gigantomachia was seen demolishing buildings housing Talons. The swarms of High End Nomu slaughtered any Talons who dared attack them. During the fighting, Toga was killing Talons when one was about to ambush her. Magne steps in and promptly kills him.
Toga: Thanks, Big Sis Magne!
Magne: Anytime!
Twice: This is amazing! WE'RE GONNA DIE! WE'RE GONNA DIE! Not a chance. buckaroo!
Twice then summons several Clones of himself to aid in the assault. The Talons fighting amongst themselves were defenseless against the relentless onslaught of High End Nomu and Twice Clones. As the Shadow Collective pushed closer and closer to the Cyclonian Palace, Shigaraki was in a state of euphoria. He had been waiting for this moment ever since All For One's fall. Now he was killing his way up to Ravess and Snipe. He was on the verge of gaining ultimate power. As the Shadow Collective continued pushing up to the Cyclonian Palace, a Cyclonian Warship carrying the banner of Ravess flies over the Shadow Collective. Before the warship could open fire, Gigantomachia steps in and grabs the warship with his bare hands. He then rips the warship in two and throws them over the edge of Terra Cyclonia.
Gigantomachia: No one dares touch All For One's successor!
With that, the Shadow Collective continued to push back the renegade Talons. When a swarm of Talons moved to attack the Shadow Collective, Dabi unleashed a wave of blue flames which burned the Talons alive. Eventually, many of the Talons began to surrender. At this point, Shigaraki spoke to them.
Shigaraki: I am Tomura Shigaraki. I am the heir to All For One's empire. You all served Ravess and Snipe. Now you serve me. If you choose to remain loyal to Ravess or Snipe, I'll kill you.
As Shigaraki said this, many of the Talons swore loyalty to Shigaraki. With that, the battle continued with more and more Talons abandoning Ravess and Snipe to join Shigaraki and the Shadow Collective. Soon enough, the Shadow Collective was approaching the Cyclonian Palace.
Dabi: Haven't seen Ravess or Snipe since we attacked. They must be inside the Palace.
Kurogiri: Ravess and Snipe will not go out without a fight. They may be incompetent, but that doesn't make them any less dangerous.
Spinner: The Sky Hunter shall bless us on his hunt!
Shigaraki looked upon the Cyclonian Palace with a hunger in his eyes. His mind fell on his past.
Shigaraki: (It's strange... when I wear "everyone", I feel sick to my stomach and want to throw up, but my heart becomes calm, how strange is that?)
As Shigaraki pondered on his past, he turned to the rest of the Shadow Collective.
Shigaraki: Well, you see... for my sake, and all of yours. You see, they're looking to hamper the mobility of the League. And I'm sure they'd like to win you over, seeing you all as useful to their cause. They want to pull you in from the outside and subjugate you. From the very beginning, they haven't viewed us as equals. Ravess and Snipe have been thorns in our sides for far too long. I think it's time we wiped them off the face of Atmos.
Mr. Compress: And thus I clothe my naked villainy / With old odd ends stolen forth from holy writ/And seem a saint when most I play the devil.
Toga: This is going to be so much fun!
Moonfish: Pretty. So pretty. No. This is work. So alluring. But no. Can't... Pretty flesh. Gah! So enticing though... Gotta do the job.
Shigaraki: (Even if this hero society comes crashing down... even if I rise to rule the underworld... that weight in my heart is never gonna go away. It's why I hate everything. Every living, breathing thing just rubs me the wrong way. So why not destroy it all? Why not destroy everything?)
With that, Shigaraki led the Shadow Collective in the assault on the Cyclonian Palace. In that moment, Shigaraki was on the verge of victory. All that was left was to eliminate Ravess and Snipe so that he could take control of the Cyclonian Empire.
