                     ~ The beginning ~

You were laying in your bed, enjoying a dream that you won't even remember once you wake up, until you were stirred awake by the voice of your mother waking telling you to wake up.

"5 more minutes please..." You said, still sleepy.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 5 MORE MINUTES? IT'S ALMOST 6:15am AND YOU HAVE PRACTICE TODAY!" Your mother yelled as she left your room leaving the light on.

ah yes. You forgot you had practice today. Wait 6:15am? OH SHI- practice starts at 6:30am!

You hopped out of bed as you look to see if your phone was charging. You have a habit of using it every night, and sometimes you would fall asleep in the middle of using your phone.

Seeing as your phone was on your nightstand charging at 100% calmed you a bit.

You got your school stuff together in your school bag while you got a change of clothes in your athletics bag. You quickly switched out your pajamas into your assigned school athletics uniform.

As you finished putting on your clothes you rushed to the bathroom to brush you hair and teeth. You didn't even bother going to the restroom you could do that at school to waste time.

Your mother knocked on your bathroom door as she said "I'll wait for you in the car, okay?". " K." You replied.

As soon as you were done with doing whatever you were you ran to your room and grabbed your things. Sprinting down the stairs and jumping off the last few steps you slid on your Crocs and left the house.

As said your mother was in the car waiting for you. As you hopped in you told her that she can drive already.

Your school wasn't that far from where you live, but depending on that god forsaken traffic light you will know if you could make it or not.

As your mom was driving she saw the traffic light turn yellow. Seeing that it was still early in the morning and there was very few cars she sped up and drove right before it could turn red.

Seeing your school right around the corner you grabbed both of your bags and put on a black mask. (Yes you know that covid isn't that strong anymore, yes you were still concerned of getting it, and yes your were insecure about your face.)

As your mom stopped the car in front of the school you quickly opened the door, bags in hand.

"Bye mom, love you." You said. "Bye (n/n), love you, have a good day!" She replied.

You ran inside the building heading towards the gym. As soon as you entered you dashed towards the locker room to change your shoes and to put away your bags.
