"That moon will always freak me out."At the dead of night, where the stars were shining and the crescent moon was laughing, a short male individual, who was no doubt some kind of Dwarf, could be seen at the center of an abandoned graveyard, with over a hundred or a thousand dozen tombstones and buried bodies. The small man shivered in disgust and slight fear, from being in such an unsettling spot filled with corpses and from the said creepy smiling moon that never stops chuckling. But he tried his best to ignore it as he reached into a small bag and somehow pulled out a large bell and hammer. He held it up high and gently hit the instrument, once a light "Ding" was made. All of the graves suddenly had a small but bright light rise from the ground and just simply floated around in the air.
"Ah, perfect."
The Dwarf put the bell away and quickly walked around the many small balls of light, carefully examining each ball and every single one
"Dang it, there sure are a lot of pure and good souls, which I'm not saying it's bad! I would rather see a bunch of kind souls rather than evil ones, in fact, they definitely deserve to rest in peace and pass on to a happy afterlife."
He reached back into his magical bag and pulled out a tiny wonder. Gently tapping on it made the blue light, which are called souls, flash brightly before disappearing.
"But I wish there were some red evil ones for me to take, I need them for my next project I'm working on, oh well."
He wasn't too bothered if he couldn't find any, it was just as simple as doing some good deeds and helping lost souls find their afterlife while they looked around. It was still his determination to do so, and he continued to do so because he was there. He walked around most of the area, mainly sending pure souls to a heavenly place. But he did find a few large handfuls of the so-called "Red Evil Souls". So it wasn't a total loss, and it was definitely worth his time. He continued this traveling around the landscape for a couple more hours, either sending away or collecting specific souls, and he would only stop when he saw the sun was slowly starting to rise. He let out a satisfied sigh and took out a water bottle to quench his thirst.
"I think that's good enough for now."
He lifted a jar filled with over 10 dozen red souls, smiling lightly to himself before putting away what he had used for the day and would no doubt use it later
"Now to go home and put these naughty souls to proper use, I wonder if I should share some with my brother, I think he might appreciate a few for his work as well."
However, before he could even leave the area to continue with whatever project he had been talking about, he was quickly interrupted by a certain sound that definitely caught his attention
"-Now go on and take every innocent soul that you can find, be quick about it."
"B-But I don't know if I can deal with this-"
The Dwarf somehow managed to both appear and hide behind a tree just in time to see a grown woman smack a small child across the face, shocking the small man to see such a thing.
"Hush you thing and do as you're told..."
The blonde woman in a black cloak glared at the pink-haired child, who rubbed her stinging cheeks and tried her best not to cry.
"... O-Ok Mother..."
This shocked the Dwarf even further, not only to see an adult lay hands on a child, but specifically 'HER' own child specifically, not only that, from what little he was able to see and hear, the mother was apparently using her daughter to commit some sin for whatever goal she was trying to achieve, no doubt it wasn't any good, usually, he would rather not get involved with someone's evil master plan and make himself an enemy to them, he prefers to stay quiet and neutral, however...
