Prologue

It all began with a number of tiny meteorites from some distant corner of the universe, a mysterious heterogeneous life-form had made their way to the planet Earth.

It landed in the Antarctic. A group of the inhabitants of the planet called humans went to investigate the crash site of the meteorites. When they arrived they saw something that shocked them to the core, they caught sight of a huge being that anyone could conclude that it was a monster.

Their skin was tough as steel and was covered in shining, yellow patterns, they nevertheless possessed the ability to communicate with one another. They boasted long antennae, sharp, glaring eyes, blade-like talons on their feet, and enormous, pincered limbs in place of hands–bearing overall, a strange resemblance to insects. The monster before their eyes were none other than these savage beings.

Humanity decided to call them 'Savage'.

Because of the threat the Savage can do, humanity decided to reconcile, and the UN had formed an alliance. In cooperation with the PMCs of the world, they had 'annihilated' the Savage in the Antarctic.

Three years have passed...

"Why? How could this have happened?! This is-"

In a town, old-fashioned buildings like churches and temples stood alongside modern skyscrapers. The sight of people joyfully going about their daily lives gave off the most peaceful feeling.

Until...

A blinding flash of beam coupled with a jarring, concussive blast transformed this idyllic scene into a bloody, nightmarish hell.

Nor was it over. The beam heedlessly, ceaselessly raked the area over, and explosive sounds continued without interruption.

The innards of the buildings in the area were exposed. They hardly had a chance to serve their intended purpose; construction had only just recently finished. Now that work was wasted; they were practically unrecognizable in their current state, all hint of their original forms was but a memory.

Majority of the buildings had been reduced to a state worse than rubble and swirling whirlwinds picked up the dust of the fallen ruins of their brethren.

The people were not fortunate either to escape, as the Savage fires it's beam at them at the distance causing explosions, killing them or those who were too close to the Savage were killed by their claws as they were sharp enough to separate a person body in half, all while their claws get dirtied by the humans blood.

Explosion followed by explosion, never pausing

In the midst of this hellish chaos a young boy that has curly green hair, freckles on his face shaped like a diamond with a white shirt and blue short pants and red shoes was crouching slightly, afraid as fear overwhelmed his very existence.

"I don't understand...W-why is this—"

An explosion rocked the area the boy was in.

"Uwaaa?!"

A gust of air, displaced by the impact of the blast, struck the boy, sending him flying and crashing on to the ground alongside some disassembled body parts or human torso that were cleaved in half. It dirtied the boy in their blood and smell was more awfully disgusting, it's more worse to be dirtied by the victim's blood than to see them die in his own eyes.

The boy was struggling to get on his feet all while trying not to throw up from the smell of the people who have died which made it very difficult. As he got up he caught a sight of the Savage that was dangerously too close where he was.

His legs threatened to give way at any moment.

But he had to shake off his fear and run.

He has to go there
