I turned the key to unlock my door.
I stepped inside and took off my shoes.
It was quiet.
It wasn't anything new since it has always been this way.
I went upstairs and plunked on my bed after locking the door and changing into comfortable clothes.
I took my phone out of my bag and scrolled down Instagram and vine.
I decided to turn on the TV and watch reruns of supernatural or teen wolf, as those were my favorite TV shows (OMG ACTUALLY TRUE IN REAL LIFE TOO!)
After what seemed like hours, in reality it was probably 20 minutes or so, I heard the front door unlock from downstairs.
Mom.
I quickly shut the TV off and ran downstairs.
"Hey mom." I greeted her and helped her with the groceries.
"Hey sweetie. How was school?" She kissed me on the cheek.
"Its was okay." I sat on the counter and pulled out an apple from one of the bags.
I bit into it and watched my mom shuffle through the mail.
"Anything interesting?" I crunched more of the apple.
She shook her head.
"How wush yur dway." I managed to say with a mouth full of apple.
"It was good love. Glad you asked." She smiled sweetly at me.
There's many things I loved about my mom.
In the roughest times, she still manages to pull me through.
Even if it meant getting herself hurt in the process.
Yet she still had a smile on her face.
A smile so touching, it could cure cancer.
-
I woke up on the floor next to my bed.
What in the hell?
I scratched my head and got up to get ready for school.
There wasn't any point of sleeping a little longer since I didn't even wake up on the right side of the bed.
In fact, I didn't wake up in the bed at all.
I walked to the bathroom that was, get this, ATTACHED TO MY ROOM!!
How cool is that? Way fucking cool.
I turned on the faucet to wash my face and brush my teeth.
Since I had extra time on my hands, I decided to take a shower.
And a great one that is! I cleaned so well, I seriously think I'm cleaner than a baby's butt. Wait, baby's butts aren't that clean. Right? Whatever!!
Judge me i dare you! I changed into a sweatshirt, a pair of jeans, and a pair of converse. Whoopdie do.
I dress up when I'd like. OKAY?! HADN'T I TOLD YOU TO STOP JUDGING ME?!
Now my non existing heart hurts. *tear* but in all seriousness....just kidding. Nothing serious here. Ha!
Okay what is wrong with me today?!
I walked out of my room after closing the door and went downstairs to make cinnamon toast crunch for breakfast.
I poured myself a glass of apple juice cause fuck orange juice!
I sat down on the floor and leaned against the couch.
Cause sitting on the actual couch was too mainstream.
I enjoyed eating my cereal and watching Grey's anatomy (not the best thing to watch when you are eating.)
This show really makes you just want to be a surgeon. No lie. I know I want to.
By the time I finished half the episode, was the time I should be getting to school.
I grabbed my bag and headed out the door.
On the way to hell here I come!
****
I pushed my way through the doors and into to the school.
I took out my phone from my back packet and swiped it unlocked.
I went to my messages and replied to Francesca.
"hey meet me in the restroom."
She typed.And that's what I did.
"Hey ana." My two friends hugged me.
All three of us went to homeroom and sat down.
The late bell rang and everyone settled down.
"Alright kids. Assignments on the board. Sooner you get done the better!" He pointed.
A few hours of torture later, and it was time for English.
I grabbed my notes out of my locker and ran to class since I was running a little late.
Crowds and all.
I got inside just before the bell rang. Alex was already there.
He grinned at me as I sat down. Michael handed out papers.
I took out my pen and stared at my worksheet.
I have no fucking clue what was written. I sat and stared into space.
"Having trouble?" I glanced to my right.
Alex.
"Uh yeah kind of." I laughed.
"X is 5. Rewrite the equation and just plug the 5 in. Get it?" I looked at him like he was an alien from a different galaxy.
I shook my head. "Not at all."
"Here." he took my pen and wrote down different numbers. "if x is 5, what does this equal." he pointed.
"60?" I questioned.
"Correct." he smiled. "Maybe I can come over and help you or something? I mean, if you still dont get it."
I nodded. I gave him my number for him to call me and left for lunch.
