Chapter 2~ family before friends, right?

-about 20 minutes later-

"Violet! Violet! VIOLET! Wake up, wake up!" Klaus screamed. He went to feel Violet's pulse, which was there. She blinked. And sat up -well tried to anyway.

"Klaus? Where are we?" She looked around and could only see the ocean, yet she was sitting on something. Then her memories all came back. "Where are Sunny and Beatrice!"

"Rhvddaf" Beatrice squealed and toddled over to Violet.

"I'm right here V," said Sunny, whose English, if you couldn't tell already, was almost spot on.

"As to where we are, I think I might know, just give it a few more seconds," Klaus answered, with that look, the Baudelaires got when thinking about one of their memories from their series of unfortunate events.

"Klaus, you don't mean," Violet said in a worried tone.

"Of course I do. This is a Very Fascinating Destination."

"But how did we get here, I mean we were just on a ship in the ocean."

"It's something mother used to say 'even the weariest river winds somewhere safe to see.' I think that has something to do with VFD, seeing practically everything our parents did had something to do with VFD."

"Klaus, do think it's safe to go on there? Are you ready to see her again? Are we ready to face the fact that everyone is good and evil?"

"Hookie!" Sunny yelled excitedly. She was remembering Olaf's henchman Fernald, who always had a soft spot for little Sunny.

"Sunny's right. We have to do this," said Violet.

"Ok," Klaus said, remembering the last time they visited this submarine.

"The word is quiet here." Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire echoed. The latch opens up on the Queequeg.

"Welcome back to the Queequeg Baudelaires." A voice echoed through the halls of the submarine. Fiona jumped down from a higher platform on the sub, and Klaus couldn't help but remember the last time they were here.

"How do you do?" said Violet, readjusting Beatrice on her hip. Fiona gave a puzzled look at the baby.

"How do you do, Fiona?" Klaus said, smiling. Fiona kissed Klaus' cheek, leaving him just as surprised as their first kiss.

"Fiona," Sunny said, conflicted between her two siblings feeling for the girl.

"Mum, hungry?" Beatrice asked, looking up at Violet, basically asking who this girl was, and asking for food. Violet and Klaus looked at Beatrice, this was her first time calling Violet's mom. While Violet was not Beatrice's mother, she wasn't even her adoptive mother, Violet did like to think she was acting in loco parentis. Though she wouldn't marry Beatrice off to a crazy count when she is 14.

"I don't mean to sound forward, but is that your baby?" Fiona asked.

"Yes, it is," said Violet, earning a GIANT stare from Fiona. "Fiona, I'm kidding, just trying to break the ice. You know, just put the past behind us and...hide our resentment."

"Oh, Ok. Well, Baudelaire, were are sure glad to see you, you've been off the radar for more than 2 years now. We all thought you were dead."

"We?" Sunny asked.

"Yes, all of VFD, But mostly me and L.S., who's the leader of VFD." Answered Fiona.

"Baudelaires! Is that you!" Optimistically said Phil, aka Cookie.
