a new beginning

"I wonder if a former street fighter like me can find peace and love." "oh there you are Kayden, geez you're always staring into space.

Kayden was a notorious fighter and excelled in multiple different martial arts. whenever he became a high schooler, his mother fell ill and couldn't provide for herself and him with food or supplies, so to make up for his mother being ill, he took to the streets and joined a well-known group that fought to make a living.

"oh hey, what brings you up here, someone else wants to fight again?" "nope not this time, i came up here to ask you what do you plan to do in college."

for the first time in a long time kayden knew what he wanted to do after high school ended.
kayden turnt around with grin and told jay his plans for the future.

"i plan to quit fighting since i got well over enough money to get the treatment for my mother so i'm quitting the group to find someone i can settle with."

jay was happy that he finally got to see his friend smile for the first time since his mother fell ill, jay was proud of his decision to quit."

"well would you look at that, i think this is the best decision for you, besides this type of lifestyle was never meant for a person like you, back then you was joyful and happy"

"could you not remind me of such a embarrassing time in my life? *sighs* anyways let's get out of here, our job is finished.

kayden and jay took their final job together, which was taking down the leaders that was rivaled their group, all of this took place a few days before graduation

after a few days passed it was time for graduation and everyone that was friends with kayden all said there goodbyes because kayden was moving to a new town to have a fresh start, it'll be him alone that's moving since he's made enough money to retire his mother.

"aye kayden you take care of yourself from now on, if you ever need anything just give me a call."

"i appreciate that Mr. kang, i'll always be grateful for what you've done for me."

"haha, there's no need to be so formal with me, after all you did take down our biggest threat with just the two of you so you have my thanks"

Mr. kang also known as reaper is the leader of the group that kayden joined, mr. kang got the name reaper from beating 100 men by himself single handed and everyone respected him for the good deeds he's also done.

"it was no problem, it's the least i can do for you taking me in under your wing"

"well enough chit chat, you have a flight to catch don't you, i suggest you get going so you don't miss it"

"your right, i'll get going now."

"kayden don't cause any trouble out there you hear me" jay said

kayden stuck his hand out and waved as he took his first steps towards a new beginning.
