Ah yes. The feeling of a new day in school that is only full of hardship, trials and problems. If I were free then maybe I could have been a perfect girl. A school of rich kids looking for enjoyments, power, followers and so much more. Try and tease me I am used to it. Steal from me? Don't make me laugh, you don't even know what my life has been through. I was always the ugly duckling in the group. The duckling that is hiding its potential just to be noticed. In the story he finds people to notice him. But what happened when he was the most noticed among the group? He would be bullied , ofcourse. Thats why even though I want to be like the duckling and be noticed, I don't ever want to step on the territory of any other anymals. For me everyone are similar to animals, some as wild as wolves and the others as harmless as a humming bird and even some that are as venomous as the King Cobra. I, on the other hand, only compare to the ugly duckling. The duckling that was rejected since birth but I always asked the story itself "why did the ugly duckling become so kind even though others treated him so cruely?". But I guess you can say as I grew up I understood his feelings. He grew up to become a beautiful swan not just because it was natural but because he never wished to become one from the start. So this just what I try to be. I am beautiful, athlethic, smart and sommuch more but since I hate being noticed I do the very opposite of my characteristsics. Others would see me now as your average clumsy school girl, a third-rate spectator but only if I knew my true self maybe they'll see the truth. My stepparents are famous singers that have high expectation for my stepsister. Stepmother always spoils her and stepfather always does everything she wants while I, the none-related adopted daughter, was like an outsider and a treated as a servant. If they didn't like me why did they even adopt me? But for me I hid that question in the bottom of my heart.
Oh yeah! I forgot. My name Minikui Ahirunoko translating to Ugly Duckling in Japanese. Well I should continue my story. My school's system is that Royalties are the only ones who are treated special and are allowed to be in the student council. You also can't know their places in the student council unless you are in a relationship with them or you are one of them. Once they go to the front gate, their maids and butlers roll a red carpet and every boy and girl in schoolpile up and cheer as they walk in. Whenever you pass the front gate your name is announced, thats why I go in the back of the school where I can go in or out anyway I like. So one day like any day, the red carpet was rolled and I went to the back of the school. Since the gate there is only for vechiles, I jump over it. But then as I jumped and went down, I accidentally fell on someone and my glasses fell off then my ponytail broke and my hair straightened.
"Guaaaaah!" He yelled.
"Kyaaaa! I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Pretending like I just slipped on him.
"Watch where you are going! Sheesh- Girls, these days" He glanced at me then blushed.
"Eh?!" Then I finally noticed I wasn't wearing my glasses and my hair was straight.
"Iyaa!!!"I take my glasses"Excuse me! Please forget what you saw!"as I run off I forgot my student ID.
" Ahirunoko...........Minikui.....What an intresting girl. I wonder if she is the one...." he said as he took hold of my ID.
RING~RING~RING~RING~
"Huaah! Finally, lunch break" since in this school I don't stand out I don't have any friends.
When it is lunch break, I don't eat. I go to the forest of the school and take a nap, and yes there are wild animals there. Bears, snakes, birds, fish, alligators, insects and so on. They are all my friends since I am the only one in the whole school who visits them. Whenever I go to the forest everyone knows my spot and everything they are doing will be postphoned until my break is over and since Lunch is 1 hour and 30 minutes, all of us can rest.
"*Yawn~ Class was boring like usual. That was only algebra and geometry yet no one understood it but me, Huh?!" as I was about to lie down the birds found me.
"Tweet, tweet, tweet~" the bird sang.
"Fine, fine. You win again. You can all sleep next to me" I said to the bird as I smile.
The animals are attached to me because of some unknown reason but it has been that way since I was young. My deal with the animals was if in the time of lunch they find my spot in the forest, all of them can sleep next to me until my brake is over.
In the student council room unknown to normal students:
"Are you sure you met the real thing?" He said
He chuckled "Yes.No mistaking it. She looks like the one in the picture"
"Sir, just in case. I shall look into her records"
"Hmph!- Do what you want."
