"Your presence enlightens my soul."

Third Person POV:

"Would you like me to bring you to your room?" Lloyd offered.

"I'd rather hang around here." Y/N replied while wiping her tears as she pretended nothing happened.

She has to accept the fact that she has to wait for love to finally approach her at the right time. Like what's fated, destiny or bound to fall in love are all planned out.

Her heart strives to create an emotional barrier to protect herself from falling in love or developing any form of emotions that might hurt her. But, is it ever possible? Her thoughts came to a pause when somebody barged into Lloyd's room, panting and out of breath.

"You guys.. We've got an emergency. Meet Pixal at the underground base."

"Underground base? Since when did the bounty had a base?" Y/N asked.

The bounty made a stop and the rattling of chains began to sound as the sky lit up bright orange from the reflections of lanterns.

"Welcome to the Monastery of Spinjitzu." Lloyd answered as the anchor of the bounty made a loud thud.

"We gotta hurry." Kai stated. The ninjas hopped off the bounty . y/n eyes' widened admiring the elegantly placed lanterns surrounding the monastery.

We rushed to the underground basement and saw a bunch of mechs and large television screens full of codings and maps.

"Honoured to meet you Fusion Ninja of the Dark Crystal Realms, descendants of the Overload. We have met before but I have not scanned your actual identity at that time." Pixal greeted.

"Sorry, did you just mention the Overlord? The one that almost destroyed Ninjago City a few years back?!" Jay worriedly questioned.

"Yes, however, Y/N seems to know nothing about him. Do you Y/N?" Pixal asked.

"I...I do know who he is. He is my ancestor but he still killed my Mother so I rather not speak about him." y/n sternly mentioned to the ninjas.

"Duly noted. Right now, you'd be of great help for this situation. It is related to Lord Zylepth." Pixal said as she started clicking on the keyboard to show me pictures of the situation.

"It seems like we aren't the only ninjas in this universe but we sure are lucky." Cole said when he saw the images of other ninjas getting brutally killed by the lord. Bodies were limbless and some were badly tortured.

"Time's not going to stop for us, we have to find his lair." Y/N cited.

"You do know how powerful he is? You even mentioned how he's able to turn us into dust!" Jay blurted.

"That's the problem. I don't know what we can do now.." y/n sighs.

"Let's just take some time to think about this and come back when we have a solution." Pixal suggested as y/n walked away from the ninjas.

First Person POV:

I really don't know what to do. I'm lost, I feel so powerless. Just because of some powerful being, I'm at a losing end.

I head towards the main entrance of the monastery and sat at the pebbled staircase for a quick breather. As I settled down, the cold orb  peeping out the clouds caught my eye. I never knew nighttime could be so beautiful.

I gazed at the pale moon, it's small roundness surrounded by a misty halo. It's as if it's smiling down at me so encouragingly. It's brightly lit glisten reminded me of Lloyd's alluring green eyes that carries a sense of purity. He's perfect to be with at a night like this.

Faint footsteps could be heard as it echoed through the wooden floor.

"Hey, you feelin alright?" Lloyd asked as he passed me a bottle of water.

"I'm alright. I'm just thinking of what we could do as a team to defeat Lord Zylepth. I doubt he's able to find us that fast, talk about finding which universe we are in." I responded and took a sip of water.

" The other ninjas were talking about the archery trick you taught us and I think we're all pretty rusty at it."

"I don't mind training you guys again. It's just that, (pauses) I feel like I'm becoming weaker and my powers feels useless. Like, doesn't it feel degrading to teach you guys a skill that I'm not even perfect at? Don't you guys ever feel that way?"

"What makes you think that? We appreciate the fact that you're teaching us a new skill. And I think your powers are pretty cool and overpowered." He smiled while comforting me with such kind words.

I gave him a smile as a sign of acknowledgment. Despite such a hapless situation, I shouldn't give up. A ninja should never give up. However, the chances of trying to defeat Lord Zylepth and turning into dust is 50/50. What can I say, it truly is a leap to death.
