(Haruka's POV)
I followed Ryuu-san through yet another dark and ominous looking tunnel. I looked around my surroundings. There were lots of creepy looking plants here and there which creeped me out to no end, but as I felt the soft fur of my two cats brush against my feet as they crept closer to me, I felt a little relieved. I turned back to see Akato, staring into space like an idiot. I then remembered the moment we both shared a little while ago. Man I must've looked so pathetic! But I couldn't just stay quiet either! I mean...it's only natural to thank someone when they've helped you right...? Even though that person is a demon ... I thought to myself and just gave him an annoyed look before turning back.
We walked through the tunnel for some time until finally, I was able so see a light being emitted by what looked like the exit. As we came closer, I heard faint noises of...voices. There couldn't really be other people here right... or is what Ryuu-san said about visiting hell true or something? Nah! I must be imagining it! Is what I thought at least. But as we exited the tunnel, we were welcomed by a very luminous light and by the voices... of the citizens of... hell!-is what Ryuu-san told me as I asked him about it in a panic. It seemed that, this place we just entered, was the kingdom of hell, and within this kingdom, at the center of it all, awaiting my arrival, was the demon king.
I looked around my surroundings in awe and astonishment. There were demons, houses and even shops everywhere. It looked a lot like a normal city, just that there was that little fact that everyone there were demons, and I couldn't fail to notice the blazing fiery red sky. As I was, well, admiring the so-called scenery, I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was that idiot, Akato. While still wearing that infuriated look of his, he nudged his head, indicating that we should proceed. I just puffed up at him and turned the other way. This guy seriously pisses me off for some reason! He then continued ahead of me with Ryuu-san.
I then put one step forward. As I did, I heard the sound of someone screaming. I looked around to see who it was but found no one. The screaming gradually got closer. As it did, I noticed that it came neither from a side nor from below, but from above. I looked up, to see a figure headed at me in full force, the closer it got I could make out a person. The person seemed more like he was falling, and where he was headed, was straight at me. I panicked and was about to jump aside, but I was too late for the person crashed into me and we both fell flat on the ground causing a loud thud.
(Akato's POV)
As Ryuu and I went ahead of that stupid girl who was staring into space like a dummy, I faintly heard the sound of someone screaming. I looked around to see who it was but found no one. I just gave myself a shrug and was about to continue when I heard a loud thud behind us. I turned around to see what it was but all I could see was a massive cloud of dust.
Once the dust had cleared up, I saw Haruka, squashed and flat as a pancake and another figure on top of her. Did that guy fall from the sky or something...? I then walked closer to them with Ryuu following me from behind. As I did, I noticed that the figure on top of Haruka looked awfully familiar. I bent down to take a closer look at the two of them, to see whether that dummy was hurt badly and to see who the idiot who had fallen on top of her was. As I did, the figure slowly got up, letting out groans from the pain after crashing. I slowly took a peek at his face, and when I did, my eyes widened in utter shock and confusion, for the idiot who had crashed into Haruka, was none other than the Demon King... my father!
