Year 6 - Making You Sad

I was sitting in the room that me and Hermione were sharing while we stayed at the Burrow before going to Hogwarts things had calmed down since my father's funeral and I was smiling again. It was late one night and I was just standing by the stairs talking to Ginny as Hermione got ready for bed.

"I swear you two are the cutest couple ever," Ginny said.

"Yeah, what about you, don't think I didn't notice you and Dean getting all chummy," I said making her blush.

"Whatever I seriously don't know why I expected more from you sometimes," Ginny said as she went downstairs.

"Hey," Hermione said coming out of the bathroom.

"Hey," I said as she kissed me.

"How are you doing?" Hermione said arms around my neck.

"I'm fine you don't gotta worry about me," I said.

We were able to go in for another kiss when we both heard the sound of an owl from downstairs we thought we were hearing things until we both heard it again.

"Is that an owl we heard," Hermione said as we leaned over the bannister.

"You haven't seen him, have you? Apparently, he's wondering about the house," Ginny said.

"Really?" I said.

"Really," We heard Harry's voice say.

"Harry!" We all said.

We all got to the bottom of the stairs to see Harry standing there we all smiled at him and gave him a hug.

"What a lovely surprise! Why didn't you let us know you were coming?" Molly said greeting Harry.

"I didn't know. Dumbledore," Harry said.

"Oh, that man! Then what would  we do without him?" Molly said.

Later we were in the Room Harry was sharing with Ron as we did some catching up as we had a small burning floating newspaper in the middle of us.

"So when did you get here?" Harry asked.

"A few days ago," Hermione said.

"Tho for a while, I wasn't sure we were coming," I said.

"Mum... sort of lost it, last week. Said Ginny and I have no business going back to Hogwarts. It's too dangerous," Ron said.

"Oh, come on," Harry said.

"She's not alone man," I said.

"Even my parents. They're Muggles, know something bad's happening," Hermione said.

"Anyway, Dad stepped in. Told her she was being barmy and... Took a few days, but she came around," Ron said.

"But, this is Hogwarts we're talking about. It's Dumbledore. What could be safer?" Harry said.

"There's been a lot of talk recently that..." I said not knowing how to finish.

"Dumbledore's got a bit old," Hermione said.

"What rubbish! Well, he's only... How old is he?" Harry said.

"250 give or take a few years?" I said making us all laugh.

A few days before heading to Hogwarts we went to Diagon Ally and saw the Twin's shop was practically the only one open.
