Spill the Beans!

-outside sitting on the grass eating-

"So, I heard about that hilarious gay prank you pulled on Josh."

"Yeah, totally started shitting my pants due to the laughter." Jordan and Jessy said as they walked over to me and Layla taking their places I front of us. Jordan and Layla were my other two friends who always defended the group if we'd get into fights, they were like the gossip king and queen of the school and they both had huge gobs. One time we left them alone when we were like 15 and when we went back to check on them, Jordan was tugging at Jessy's hair while Jessy was pushing his face back with her palm, the next day Jordan was in one of those neck casts. When we asked them what happened, they said they were fighting over weather a girl called Jade would ever come to school with actual clothes rather than some cloth tightly fitted around her curves, they were yelling at each other because one of them thought that she'd actually end up in a serious relation ship while the other thought she'd be stranded on a little island off the course of Morocco. God knows what they were thinking, but like I said they both have huge gobs and hate it when they are contradicted.

"Uh huh, and then he got her back like 10 seconds ago." another voice spoke.

"Adam!" me and Layla squealed as my second best friend came and sat in between me and Layla. Adam has been our friend since we were like 4. One day I was going to get my lunch from the locker room in school and I saw Ash bossing Adam around, so I decided to help him. Ash and me settled on having a staring contest and the winner would get Adam. It was pretty easy to beat Ash because Layla stood behind me and when she saw I was going to give in, she smiled at Ash and waved at him and he immediately fell into the trap and blinked. After we won, Adam followed me and Layla around as if he was our slave and we told him he was free, but he got upset and that's when we told him he didn't have to be our butler, but he could be our friend if he wanted and we instantly became best friends.

"So what are you planning to do, I mean come on your clearly not gonna leave this for another day." he stated matter of factly and grabbed a chip from both mine and Layla's plastic plate/bowls.

"Hey I thought that you weren't allowed to bring canteen foo outside." Jessy said while stealing another one of my chips.

"Yeah, but Mr Hollster was on look out duty..." Layla trailed off while grinning evilly at both me and Adam.

"Wait a minute, is there something you three aren't telling us?" Jordan questioned eying all three of us cautiously.

"Something lik-"

"Tut, tut, is Laura keeping Jordan and Jessy out o the loop?" Josh rudely interrupted Adam while taking a seat next to me and taking one of my chips. I whacked his hand but was too late because he was already moaning at the yummy taste of the food.

"Fatty!"

"Not as fat as you."

"A noxious jerk with the lamest come backs ever."

"Look who's talking."

"Look who's talking." I mimicked.

"Awhh, for flip sake, shut up and you," Jessy growled while pointing at Adam, "tell us why they were able to get out with chips."

"Yeah spill the beans." Josh spoke. I turned to Layla and eyed the beans on her empty plastic plate/bowl and she nodded at me as the edges of her lips curled sky high.

"Okay, if you say so." I said with sweetness laced all around my words. I grabbed the beans and stoop up while Josh flung back and stood up almost too afraid to make any sudden movements. He held his hand in front of him motioning me to stop, but it just provoked me more. I stepped closer to him and he moved back, I stepped closer to him again and he stepped back again.

"Look, L-Laura, spill the beans is just a saying and seriously come on those beans just had to be there?" he questioned as he started to stumble back, "And t-this is degsiner, so come on, let's not get to hasty." he added pointing to his shirt.

"Humm, it looks like your the one who's gonna need to phone home for an extra pair of pants." I said as I smiled evilly at his state. That's when he took his opportunity to run and I chased after him, he curved behind some people sitting on the grass, cut across some guys playing football and separated two people making out as he jumped onto and off a green bench near the grass, I did the same and followed him hot on his heals. He was about to go inside, when I took my chance to throw the beans, but he moved to the side and the beans hit the principals face instead. And with that, we both earned ourselves a detention after school. Urghh!

Stupid little Josh I thought as I walked back to where all my friends were sitting and laughing at me as if I was dressed up in a clown costume. While Davern made his way inside and to what ever shit he gets up to. I knew Josh was a popular guy and could easily mingle with anyone, but I'd never seen him with the same people for too long, except his best friend Alex.

Josh and I had a weird relationship, if you're wondering why he came up to us in the first place, his parents and my parents go way back according to them. Sometimes we'd be at each other's throats where as at other times we'd be sticking up for each other as if we didn't hate one another, like the time Josh got in trouble for being late to class by Mr Edmond and I knew he was late because he had to drop off his little sister, Maddie. So, I helped him by turning the teachers attention to a paper airplane that was flying to him and got stuck in his hair, so I went to take it out of his hair saying that I was testing the science of movement, since we were in a physics class, and when I pulled the paper out, his wig came off showcasing his polished bald head. I swear, I didn't know he wore a wig. The whole class started laughing and Mr Edmond ran out of the class and took a month of vacation because of some sort of mental illness he got. Due to the humiliation. Now every time anyone is late, he turns a blind eye to it. Oh, and it's only fair to say Josh has helped me out to, so I'm not the only Hero in this school.

"What happened?" Jordan's voice brought me back to the matter at hand.

"Yeah, the principal was showing a hint of pissed off colour and large amounts of the shade anger before he went back inside." Layla pointed out and summarised the whole situation in a sentence.

"I got flipin' detention tanight." I said. [Yeah, I said tanight not tonight, it ain't a typo :P]

"Wait what," Adam said to me nervously before whispering in my ear, "you have a race tanight.". I saw Layla nod from behind when she realised the dilemma. The reason he was whispering was because Jordan and Jessy, weren't aware of my little secret.

"Don't worry, I'll be there." I mumbled back as I covered my mouth with my hand.

"What are you talking about?" Jessy asked eyeing us suspiciously and Adam easily answered by saying that we were discussing weather to tell them or not about how we managed to get our chips out while Mr Hollster was on duty.

"So I'll see you at the race." Adam and Layla said before leaving me to attend my detention. With the stupid Jerk Josh.
