Chapter 38: Scarabia Conclusion

The next day, all the Scarabia Dorm students with Kalim, Jamil, Briar and the Ramshackle Dorm group, Azul, and the Leech Twins are outside to have a little fun.

Kalim happily says, "All right. Jamil's back in the action, and we're done with our winter break assignments! You know what that means: let's all throw a grand holiday party!" and happily cheers.

"Have you considered NOT throwing a party every other day?" Jamil questions with a slight frown.

But Azul says, "Oh, what's the harm? What could be nicer than a little celebration to commemorate the season?

"The camels are all loaded up with food and drink," Jade informs.

Then Floyd happily says, "And I've got my swimsuit! Can't wait to dive right into that oasis."

"Then it's time for a parade! Bring on the elephants and peacocks, too!" Kalim calls out.

Grim happily cheers, "Yeah! To the oasis we go!"

Soon enough, everyone is all ready to head out to the Eastern Oasis for some fun.

Kalim turns to Jamil and asks, "Are you feeling better now, Jamil? Let me know right away if you need a break."

"Enough, I told you that I'm fine now," Jamil answers.

Grim happily says, "Let's hurry to the oasis and get this party started! Woo hoo!"

"Yeah. I can't wait to get there!" Jasper says.

"It will be wonderful," Tanzanite adds.

Then Floyd says, "I'll teach you two how to swim!"

Jade laughs, "Ha ha. I can hardly wait."

"Then let's go," Briar says.

Soon, everyone begins to make their walk towards the Eastern Oasis. This time, everyone is very excited for the party that will be awaiting them. There will be food, drinks, music, and a big Oasis for them to swim in.

A little time later, they're practically halfway to the Oasis.

Azul turns to Jamil, "Don't push yourself too hard, Jamil. You may lean on me if you need to."

"I'll pass, thank you," Jamil answers, and says, "I'd rather not be indebted to you in any way," He then smirks and says, "You should be more concerned about not shriveling to nothing in the desert heat."

Kalim laughs, "Aha ha ha! You're all such good friends now!"

"That didn't sound friendly to me at all!" Grim replies.

"Yeah. What Jamil said doesn't sound very friendly to me," Briar says.

Trinket nods her head in reply.

Time has gone by, and the large group continues to travel through the desert to get to the Eastern Oasis.

Sometime later, Jamil points out, "I can see the oasis now."

Grim cheers, "Myah! I can't wait to stuff my face!"

"I can't wait to go swimming," Tanzanite says.

"Me too," Jasper says.

Seriea happily says, "Me three."

"Yeah, this is gonna be the best party ever. We're gonna go all-out!" Kalim happily says.

Then shouts in excitement, "Let's race! Last one to the oasis is a rotten egg!"

"You're on, Kalim!" Briar happily says.

With that, Kalim, Briar, and some of the others already have a head start on the race.

Jamil rolls his eyes and says, "I swear... Where do they find all that energy?"
