Adrian's pov

"Adrian we- I" and then she passed out.

For fucks sakes Simone why didn't you eat something today. I rushed over to her but the guy whose attention she was trying to get was already by her side gently picking her up from the floor.

She did hit her head pretty hard but not hard enough to be bleeding.

Wait she said his name was Damien. Why was that name so familiar?

"I'll take care of her. You can go with your friends, sir. "

"I got it." He said harshly to me.

Strange. I mean she knows him and I guess I can trust him with her. I let him take her to his car and I guess to the hospital.

That was weird as fuck.

Damien's pov

After watching her literally pass out infront of me I think I almost passed out myself. Whatever that asshole had given her he'd definitely pay later.

I carried her to my car and whisked off to the hospital where they took her for some tests.

"Mr. Vaughn, we are done with tests and as you said you are her fiancee we are liable to sharing this information with you."

What? I'm not dumb I know if I said I was her friend they'd shrug me away.

"Of course doctor. What's the problem?"

"Well it looks like she hasn't been eating that much infact we could say she hasn't eaten at all in the last two days. We also found large amounts of caffeine in her blood which from the looks of things could be one of the causes of what we believe is depression."

"Are you serious? I had no idea." I say concern taking over me.

"Yes sir. Seeing as she is a college student we suspect that she is undergoing some depression of some sort from all the school work which is making her not eat and opt for coffee."

"So doctor what should we do?"

"I have already prescribed her a dose for the dehydration and given her some supplements but she'll need some food and rest and maybe try talking to her?"

"Of course doctor. We'll keep in touch." I said to her and went over to finish some paper work.

They let me take her home though she was still a little passed out but the doctor said it was the drugs they'd given her.

I decided to take her over to my apartment so that I could make sure she was okay and take care of her.

She definitely wasn't going to campus tomorrow.

I took her to my bed to rest and started making her some soup and pasta.

I had some shuffling as I was getting the plates to the room and she was now awake.

"What are you trying to do? Lie back down."

"What happened? Did I hit my head?"

"Yeah you did." I said and explained to her how she passed out and I took her to the hospital while setting the plates down till realisation hit me.

"Does it hurt? I could get you some meds."

"No no I'm fine." She dismissed me.

"You have a strange way of being fine. Why weren't you eating?"

"I was just so busy with all my assignments I guess it just slipped my mind." She said while lying back down.

"Things like that don't just slip your mind Simone. I made you some food which you are going to eat." I said.
