In College This Time

Chapter 1

This is my face.

Nope. Definitely not my original hair color.

This is my body.. I mean kind of like my body.. my booty.. my -- "Yup. My boobies are still here." I tugged the front of the shirt this body is wearing and checked. "Another yup. They are the same as before." I squished them. "A hundred percent real."

My focus went back to the mirror and without batting an eye, I slapped my cheek. "Yup for the third time, I'm still living inside the novel."

I stretched my arms out before leaving the front of the mirror. It has been few months since I started living inside the novel An Online Chance. For some weird reason, after I got hit by the car, I woke up being me inside this story.

As in, my name Aice Figuera was the name of this body (courtesy of the school ID that was on the desk next to the bed). My looks are the same and so as my voice, my height, my shape.

The only differences were my hair color and the fact that I'm back in college again. Oh, and that I have Filipina blood and can speak Tagalog!

It also appeared that this Aice Figuera had been living alone in the school dorm. She had no family nor friends. 

Basically a loner.

Anyway, since I found out that I went inside the novel I have been a fan of, I decided to change the tragic ending. I did it with my successful nosiness in Mielle Luara's life. 

Although it ended with Mielle still getting shot, she didn't die.. "God, I'm such a horrible human being. How can getting shot be a good thing?" 

But she still lives instead of dying, so... it was a good outcome, right?

I meddled with her life, posing as a good big sister who she randomly met at the mall and ending up being an adopted granddaughter of Lola Kimmy that made me live with them. However, after taking care of her when she got discharged from the hospital, I decided to leave their lovely house.

I felt like my work was finished. The story was done. She and Nariza Vander survived that critical scene of the story, so my meddling is done.

It's a little sad on my end since I haven't seen her and the rest of the characters for a while now, but I had to do it. I have to get my life this time together.

My eyes budged out at the sudden notification on my phone.

> Ateng! Kailan ka ba magpapakita ha?

> Andaya mo! Forget and forgotten you na me! Huhuhu!

My lips automatically smiled reading Mielle's text. "Kita mo nga naman. Iniisip ko palang, haha.." This kid had grown on me. She and lola Kimmy have become my family.

We got so close that Mielle's personality somehow adapted some of my mature side, while at the same time, influenced me with some of her kalog traits. 

Because we became close, she would even asked me how to respond to her so-called 'dakilang stalker' (of Nariza) Jace Miko Salguero -- who turned out to be her blood-uncle; to that so-called 'babaerong tukmol' Peter Pallermo -- who turned out to be a tad masochist as no matter how many times Mielle rejected his advances, he still keeps on trying; and last but so not the least, to that so-called 'demonyong doctor' Rhyn Carlisle -- who turned out to have the omniscient POV.
