-Third person Pov-

It was a boring day at the foundation. Nothing really much happened. It was for once peaceful. Which made the veteran soldiers along with the O5 council unease.

Dr. Lyra was a junior researchers. She was studying SCP 049. One day she had an idea that came across to her head. What if they brought SCP 049 to SCP 053? It took awhile to convince the council to allow them to actually do the test.

However, the council grew tired of the begging so they allowed it. Dr. Lyra told SCP 049 about the movement to another containment. Scp 049 nods.

Dr. Lyra wasn't infected by the pestilence. So she was safe. "Come out SCP 049" she called out to him. The plague doctor slowly stepped. He was cuffed and was chained as if he was a dog.

The MTF soldiers held onto the chains tightly. But stayed a safe distance away from the SCP.

"Are you ready?" She asked the doctor. "Yes." He replied blankly. The junior researchers nods and leads the way.

Her glasses making her able to see the hallway. Her long blonde hair was pulled up into a ponytail.

When they arrived Dr. Lyra told Scp 049 the rules before she allowed him in. When she swipped the keycard. The doors opened to show a room.

A containment wall with glass on just to see the kid. SCP 053 was gonna be a little tricky. If she gets scared too much she can cause a horrible seizure or a heart attack. When you stay for with her for 10 or 15 minutes she makes you go insane.

Dr. Lyra went over the basics and soon allowed the two to meet up.

Scp 049 looked around confused at the childish containment room.

Her walls had light pink with white polkadot. Her ceilings had a light blue sky with clouds and a sun painted.

Scp 053 toys were all over the place. The small little girl stared at SCP 049 a little nervous but yet interested at him. The MTF's let the chains go and shut the door behind them.

The plague doctor knelt down and waved at her. "Hello." He said, looking at the little girl. Scp 053 smiled softly and waved back. "Hello!" She replied back.

Soon the two started getting along. They would play games together. They played dress up. The two were dressed as doctors. The patient was SCP 053's stuff allerigator toy that looks like SCP 682.

When it hit the 10 min mark. It seemed that nothing strange had happened. Dr. Lyra kept checking on the two to make sure everything was ok. She smiled softly as the two played, but soon sighed as she knew that she would have to take SCP 049 out soon. 

For now she'll let them play for a while.

When time flew faster the two could expect. Dr. Lyra spoke on the inner coms giving directions to SCP 049 to stepped out of the containment.

Though neither of them didn't want to leave one another. They knew that he had to go.

As the plague doctor waved goodbye. He stepped out and let the MTF soldiers detain him.

The little girl frowned to see them take away her friend and asked if he was gonna come back. The scientist said most likely he will but they're unsure at the moment.

She smiled and sat down drawing SCP 049.

Scp 049 soon was brought back inside his containment. He got back to his work and started experimenting trying to find a cure for the pestilence again.

[The next day]

It was a disaster. There was a massive containment breach.

Containment soldiers ran and shouted. They did their best to contain the breached SCP's. "Hands in the air scp 053." As one of the MTF soldiers said calmly.

Scp 053 looked at them in fear a bit. "Easy there agent. We can't scare her nor want to be near her for long." As agent 56 commented.

Agent 56 slowly stepped up to her and knelt down. "Hey there little one. It's gonna be ok, alright?" Scp 053 stared at the soldier. She couldn't do much but nod.

The alarms rang loudly.

As agent 56 stepped up and smiled under their mask. They're eyes soon widened.

Scp 053 looked at him confused. The soldier fell down unconscious. She slowly looked up to see..

"DOCTOR!" She shouted happily and hugged him. It seemed that the touch didn't affected her. "Hello little one." He said blankly.

The small child looked behind him to see multiple zombie soldiers. A groan and moaned was heard. She looked back and saw the soldier who tried to help her was now infected.

She frowned and felt guilty for him.

"Now.. let's escape now shall we?"

"Ok!"
