Lucy POV

I had just finished getting dressed after getting out of the shower when I heard a series of car horns going off outside. I ran over to my window and looked down into the parking lot seeing my friends standing outside their cars. They had all honked at the same time. I could feel the veins popping out of my head as I opened my window and stuck my head out.

"YOU GUYS DO KNOW I HAVE NEIGHBORS RIGHT!! There's also another hour before school. What are you all doing here so early!?" I yelled.

The plan we had come up with was that because I lived closest to the school they would all meet me here and then we'd all drive in together. They all wanted to take one car but I managed to talk them all out of it because regardless of what happened with Natsu, I still wanted to see his reaction to me and my car. It's also just the fact it's a new school and I wanted to make an impression. I worked hard to make sure that would happen.

"Then let us in Lucy!" Juvia yelled back.

"Sorry Lu, we figured you'd be late so we decided to come early to make sure you were awake." Levy shouted up to me.

I rolled my eyes and angrily sighed while I closed my window and went down to the front door. Giving apologetic smiles to my grumpy still half asleep neighbors who glared at me standing in their open doorways on the way down. When I got to the door and opened it I gave them all angry glares.

"Thanks to you guys I think all my neighbors hate me. So if you wouldn't mind keeping quiet while I finish getting ready that'd be great." I said in a monotone voice as I turned around to go back to my apartment.

I heard whoever entered last close the door to my apartment as I went back to my bathroom to finish my makeup. When I came back out, typical of my friends, they made themselves right as home. Gajeel was raiding my kitchen. Levy was raiding my books. Juvia was laying in my bed. Erza was in my underwater drawer once again. If I could punch them all simultaneously I would. I marched over to Erza and ripped my underwear from her hands and closed my closet. Slammed the fridge door closed on Gajeel who had ate half of my apple pie. Handed Levy the book she always reads when she's here. And shoved Juvia over so I could sit down.

"I'm glad you guys are so comfortable here to go as far as eating all my food and going through my underwear." I said as I eyeballed Erza and Gajeel. At least all Juvia dose is lay on my bed.

They all laughed nervously and sat around in my living room. We started talk about what we thought the school year would hold for as all while we waited until it was time to go. Juvia was excited to see Gray again to say the least. Gajeel looked like he was going to have a heart attack, although he seemed to calm down every time he heard Levy's voice. I really need to figure out how I'm going to get those two couples together. Remembering after school it was also my first day at the cafe, I grabbed a red shirt and a pair of jeans for work after school from my closet before I grabbed my purse, backpack and keys and we all walked out to our cars.

"Lu I meant to ask." Levy started after everyone was a bit in front of us. "Are you sure you're okay after yesterday?"

I told her about how I ran into Natsu again last night. She came to my place after she was done school shopping and she saw that I was really confused about how he felt towards me as well as my own feelings for him. In all honesty I was still confused. But if he's going to push me away then so be it.

"It's fine. I've put it behind me, really." I didn't let her ask anything more about it before I opened my car door, throwing my purse and backpack into the passenger seat and watched my friends do the same in their cars.

Why Juvia and Gajeel chose to take their own cars to school when they lived in the same house being siblings, I don't know. Gajeel had a plain black 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. It suited him well I thought. Juvia was sporting a crystal blue 1971 Plymouth Cuda convertible. Erza had a shining silver 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird with a tall spoiler on the back and slim gold stripes going down the sides of the car. Levy still had her corvette which was now sitting on chrome rims. Chrome rims that Gajeel "found" and gave her. I fully believe they were his but he gave them to her. We all started our cars and started the drive to school.
