As I opened the door to the library, I felt his hand tightening its grip on my hand. When the door was opened, the scent of books and old things hit us. The scent was always comforting and made me immediately feel as if I was home. As I looked around the room at the books and the ladders that made it easier to take the different books, I forgot that I was not alone until Cadar spoke up.

"Wow, you were definitely not exaggerating when you said this library was big. Actually, I would say it was an understatement. This room is ginormous. I don't think I have seen any room as big as this one. I would even dare to say it is bigger than my whole house. How many of these have you read yet? I don't believe you have read every book yet, have you?" he said with a bewildered look around the room.

I laughed at his reaction. "Indeed, I haven't, I think I have only read about a tenth of this entire room. Which is still a lot but like I said I have a lot of free time and not a lot of friends to spent it with. So, I like to think the people in the books are my friends. I know it kind of sounds sad, no scratch that, it sounds really really sad."

"No, it doesn't, I understand you. It is so easy to forget about the rest of the world when you are reading. It is like the world of books is an entire new world with new lives to live."

I looked at him astonished. He perfectly described how it feels to read. I smiled at him while looking into his gorgeous eyes. "That is entirely how it feels like. If you want, we can read now, or you can borrow some of my books?"

"I would love to, but I think you need to get back to your other guests, don't you think so? I would not want to keep you up to like your brother said, "find your soulmate". And I would really want to have another dance with you, if you want to too?"

"You are absolutely right, oh my goddess, I can't believe I forgot there was a party going on specially for me. Oh no, I am such a bad host. I can only think about what people would think off me." I said with an anxious look on my face. "I also can't believe I just made you come here. I am so sorry to bore you and waste your evening in this library. Let's go downstairs now."

"Hey, hey look at me." He said while grabbing my cheeks into his hands, making me look into his eyes once again. "You didn't bore me at all. I even think this would have been the best way to spend my evening. I would love to spend even more time with you. But I kind of feel bad to keep you away from your other guests so let's go now."

As we were walking out of the library and back downstairs Cadar still held my hand in his. As we were going to descend the staircase in the middle of the ballroom, he said some reassuring words into my ear, making me immediately relax.

When we were back onto the dancefloor, he put both of his arms around my waist while I put me arms around his neck. We danced to the music for a little while as we were staring into each other's eyes. Should I ask him to go with me on the mission tomorrow? Or is it too soon, I had only known him for a couple of hours, although it felt like we knew each other for weeks, or even months.

Suddenly the music stopped, making everyone, including Cadar and I, look at the musicians only to find my father standing there ready to talk. I was confused, I didn't think anyone would speak, but here he was.

"Welcome everyone, I hope you all are having a good time, I sure am." He said, making everyone let out a laugh. "I know you all are here for my beautiful daughter Willow, but I would like to say something too. As most of you know, in order for Willow to become queen of Navalla, she has to kill three creatures. She has already killed one of them, a pixie, last month and as not a lot of people know, there has to be exactly one month and two days between the killings. Tomorrow, she leaves again to kill another one, so why not drink something for her and to wish her good luck? To Willow!"
