Chapter 4: Don't fool yourself....unless

After talking about it for some time

y/n pov

y/n:"When do you think we'll be going there?"

gaege:"A few days at least since mully, Josh and the girls have to get here first before we do anything, eddie, gabby and narrator will be heading here soon" he replied in a for sure tone

y/n:"That works for me, but I should probably get going since its kinda late."

kevin then had a look of somewhat panic spread across his face.

kevin pov

kevin: "Damnit she's leaving, it's now or never" I thought "Hey y/n could we possibly get coffee sometime or could I get your number?"

I'm surprised she didn't catch on to how nervous I was.

y/n pov

y/n:"Holy shit holy shit, did he just ask for my number." i thought to myself

I was internally freaking out and I guess he caught on to that because he quickly changed his tone.

kevin:"Uhm it would just be to talk about the planning for the trip and to keep in contact if something happened, you know?"

y/n: "oh yeah I know just fine, I just fooled myself into thinking you were actually interested in me for even a second" I thought

y/n:"Yeah sure I could give you my number." I said trying to hide my embarrassment with a fake smile plasted across my face.

We exchanged numbers and I went towards the door trying to leave as quickly as possible.

kevin pov

kevin:"I got her number but something didn't feel right, when I asked for her number she looked excited but when I told her it was just to stay in contact that excitement faded, did I do something wrong." I thought questioning everything that just happened.

Y/n POV

1 hour later

When I got home I checked my phone to see I had got a text from Kevin

Kevin:"hey it's Kevin, did you make it home alright"

That was sweet of him to check in on me and make sure I made it home okay

Y/n:"yes I did, thank you for asking"

Kevin:"that's good, also if you don't mind me asking how did you find out about the editor job?"

Y/n:"I saw an ad for it on facebook and I thought considering my situation I might as well check it out"

Kevin:"what do you mean by your situation?"

I ended up telling him all about my situation and how I got into it, all about how seeing gaege's ad really saved my ass.

Y/n:"so yeah seeing his ad really helped me"

Kevin:"I'm really glad we helped you, sorry to cut the conversation short but it's like 12 am, we better get to bed"

Y/n:"you're right and it was really nice meeting you, goodnightt Kevin :)"

Kevin:"goodnight y/n :)"

3 days later

y/n pov

I received a text from kevin in the morning

kevin:"Hey, Eddie and narrator got here a few hours ago, josh, Mully and the girls got here yesterday so if it's cool with you they were thinking we could leave mid afternoon and be there tomorrow so you should probably go to the airport soon."

y/n:"Great I'll get to finally meet the boys". I thought

I got up took a shower, did my hair, put a little mascaras on and went to go get dressed. I decided on a simple pair of jeans, t-shirt and hoodie.

y/n:"Oh shit I forgot to reply to his text." I thought aloud

y/n:"hey thank you for letting me know that sounds great I'll be over in a hour, see you guys soon :) ".

20 minutes later

y/n pov

i went to go outside and load my suitcase and bag into the car. I pulled my phone out of my pocket to text kevin I'm heading over.

y/n:"I'm coming over now I'll be there in 30"

kevin: "Okay, can't wait to see you :) "

His text made me blush a little.

y/n:"Stop y/n don't overthink this, he probably said that to everyone" I convinced myself.

30 minutes later

I pulled into the driveway then proceeded to knock on the door just to be met with kevin going in for a hug which was confusing to me, i agreed and the hug lasted a few seconds. He walked me in, keeping his hand gently on my back.

kevin: "Hey guys y/n's here" He said announcing to everyone

I was met with a bunch of people

The boys:"hey, hi, nice to meet you etc".

This introductions were later broke by narrator 

narrator:"hey guys should we head to the airport, now since everyone's here".

Everyone agreed

kevin:"We should only need 3 cars right?"

eddie: "Yeah the boys in one car, camera crew in one and girls in another" he announced to everyone.

kevin pov

kevin:"Guess I'm with you" I said this giving her a big grin

y/n: "Sounds like fun" she said returning the gesture

kevin:"I'll help you grab your stuff and put it in my car"

We walked over to her car and we got her stuff in my car, right as the boys were about to head to the airport.We got in the car, just the two of us, we were talking and ended up locking eye contact somehow, the crazies thing happened, she leaned in and kissed me.
