Edit: future me here, this fanfic was the first one I've ever done so it's kinda bad, but I've definitely improved with my more recent chapters!

Scar was madly in love with Grian. He never wanted to admit it to anyone even though it was super obvious. He got embarrassed every time he talked with Grian and couldn't go a day without daydreaming of him being his boyfriend.

It got worse when Scar got soul bound with Grian. If someone mentioned Grian and scar being soulmates he would become an blushing mess. The thought of being Grian's boyfriend would be a dream but he knew it would never happen. Why would a boy as beautiful as Grian want to date him?

'Hello Scar!' A familiar voice shouted from the bottom of their base. Scar looked down and met Grian's eyes. Scar blushed but tried to hide it. 'Hey Grian!' Scar shouted from above. He would never show his true feeling to Grian, they had been best friends for years and Scar didn't want to risk their friendship just by some stupid feelings.

Scar looked out in the horizon. The sunset reminded him of Grian, red, yellow and blue, the colors of his wings. Scar had always wanted to touch Grian's wings but he knew Grian doesn't like it. Scar got too caught up with his mind he didn't hear Grian climbing up the ladder.

'Hello again Scar' Grian said with a smile. Scar starred into Grian's big blue eyes, Grian was the most gorgeous boy Scar had ever met, his humor his personality, his smile, he's literally just the definition of perfect.
'Uh, hello?' Grian waved his hand in front of Scars face. Scar snapped into reality, 'Oh..hi Grian.' He blushed. Gosh darn it, why did he get so embarrassed talking to Grian? 'So I was wondering if you were up to sell some paper?' The shorter said. 'Oh um..sure thing Grian!' said Scar. 'Great! Here's six paper, go out to the Relation-Ship and try to sell it to Joel and Etho!' Grian threw the paper to Scar. 'I'm gonna go plant some more sugarcane, cya later Scar!' 'Oh, bye!' He said quickly before Grian hopped down the ladder.

Scar walked over the one block bridge to the Relation-Ship, the sun was setting down quick so he better get this deal done fast. 'Hey Joel!' Scar shouted when he looked up the ship to see him. 'Hey, Scar. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Grian and cuddling?' Joel joked. Scar blushed 'Oh..um' He wondered if it was so obvious that he liked Grian. 'Scar, it's super obvious that you like Grian, you look like a tomato every time he gets near you.' Joel said like he was reading his mind. 'Okay, fine, I like Grian. His eyes, his face, his wings, his body..- 'Okok I get it' Joel interrupted. 'Why don't you ask him out? I've heard from the other hermits that he's stupidly in-love with you.' 'Wait what?' Scar said surprised, he would never think he actually liked him back. 'This can't be true? He hasn't shown any affection of me, I've never even seen him blush!' 'Scar, Grian is really good with hiding emotions, he's definitely hiding his love for you since he's scared of getting rejected.' 'I would never reject Grian!' Scar shouted. 'So why don't you go up to him and ask him out?' Joel smirked. 'I guess I could..' Scar said quietly. 'Great! Good luck Scar! This will go perfect!' Joel smiled. 'Now go ask that man!'

Scar walked down the hill and onto the bridge, he could see the moon slowly coming up in the distance. If Grian actually likes Scar back, this would be the best night of his life! Scar went up to the Sugarcane farm and saw Grian crying on the floor. 'Grian! Why are you crying? Are you alright? Did something happen?!' Grian sniffed his nose and tried to wipe away his tears with his red sweater. Scar quickly sat himself down next to Grian. 'I..-it's just..I feel like no one loves me..' Grian lays his head down on Scars shoulder. '..i know it's stupid..' 'No! No it isn't stupid Grian, I love you so much, I love your face, your hair, your eyes, you wings, I could go on forever! Your perfect Grian.' 'I..-i love you so dearly you can't describe it.' Grian looked up with tears still in his eyes. '..really..?' 'Yes really, I love you so much Grian! I do not love you in a platonic way, I love you so much romantically Grian! '..romantically..? Grian formed a blushing smile on his face. Did I just confess my feelings to Grian..? Yes I did. 'Y..-yes, I love you so much in a romantic way. 'Grian..will you be my boyfriend?' I blushed, I was expecting a no, but before I knew it Grian said his answer 'Oh my gosh Scar. YES! Of course I wanna be your boyfriend, I've loved you for so long! I never thought you would ask me!' Grian pushed Scar into a soft kiss, Scar was to stunned to do anything, but managed to close his eyes and enjoy the kiss. Grian moved himself up on Scars lap and put his arms around his neck. He slowly pushed away from the kiss and met Scars eyes. Those beautiful emerald eyes. 'Has anyone told you, your eyes are beautiful Scar?' Grian softly told him. '..no, I guess not.' 'Well I love them' Grian smiled and planted a kiss on his nose.
'I love you Scar.' Grian said while laying his head on his chest. 'I love you too.' Scar whispered.
