The Letters

The potter twins were sitting in their "room" under the stairs when their aunt said they had to make the food. 

The twins make food for their aunt, uncle, and cousin at the age of 11 which is an age when you should be enjoying your life and having fun with friends not an age where you are stuck at "home" and forced to do chores.

Just after the twins had set the table and everyone settled down at their own seats an owl flew over the table and dropped two letters one in front of Harry and one in front of Percy.

The letters were addressed from Hogwarts and even tho the Dursleys hate magic they didn't take the letters from the boys because they probably had a spell of being flameproof, would keep coming back if thrown out, spell for no water damage, and they would get the annoyance of the two boys out of their house. They especially wanted Percy out because he has special conditions that "cost more".

The boys were curious about the letters because they had never had anything addressed to them and who would write to them, they never went out of the house.

Dear Mr. Potter,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Students will be required to report to the Chamber of Reception upon arrival. Please find an enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins September 1st. We await your owl by no later than July 31st. To avoid detection by muggles, please use the entrance located at Kings Cross Station Downtown London, on platform 9 ¾. We look forward to having you at our school.

Percy and Harry were confused because one, wizards and witches don't exist, two, a muggle is not a thing, and three, there is no platform 9 ¾!

Just as they started asking questions someone broke the door down and said, "I am here to pick up two boys by the names of Percy and Harry so that I can help them learn about and get to Hogwarts."

This was the voice of a very kind person, Mrs. Weasley.

The twins' uncle practically shoved them out of the house saying, "YOU COME HOME WHEN YOU ARE FORCED TO!"

The twins both knew by now that their uncle hated magic, they would be staying with this lady a lot, and that, that might just be the last time they see their uncle.
