Falling through darkness, just an empty black expanse that didnt end. Jack closed his eyes, just a dream he though, wake up!

His body connected with a surface, eyes still closed he thought to himself "im dead im dead im dead". He then realized he wasnt dead, the impact hadnt really hurt either. He opened one eye and took in his surroundings briefly, it was dark, he was in a hallway, black stone covered the floor but it felt cold enough to be ice. He stood up slowly taking in now the quite beautiful structure of the building he was in, black stone lined the walls and a symmetrical hall way with small pillars lining the walls lead into the dark. There was windows with stained glass designs in dark colors that depicted gruesome tales, the space was terrifying, yet beautiful. He was confused, but fear did not come over him. Surprisingly calm he made his way down the hallway, it continued for a while. He passed different stain glass windows each a different story. One depicted two knights deep in battle both bloodied but still standing strong. Another was a lone figure crouched in the center while a black cloud surrounded them. Each was darker then the next. Finally the hall came too an end, wooden double doors stood before him ringed metal handles on each one. Jack reached out and grasped the handles one in each hand, he pulled with all his strength and the doors groaned and slowly opened. The room that was beyond the door way was massive. A domed roof hundred of feet above jacks head topped of the massive room, each corner had a black stone pillar reaching towards the roof. The room was dark, but he could make out everything. The middle of the room was the remains of a statue, a large pair of legs and torso rose up from the ground standing five times as tall as jack. It only had one arm and that arm ended in a stub thats rough and cracked. The statue was decapitated and only a piece of the neck remained. Everything else was in place. It was strange, why was the statue only broken. "Do you like my castle?" A voice echoed. Jack swiveled around to determine the source. "The statue really ruins the scene, i never fixed it, would you like to know why" jack was hesitant and said nothing "well do you??!" The voice was closer now. Jack nodded slowly. "Then dear boy i will tell you" jack turned to the sound and could see the outline of the speaker who got clearer as they approached. " I believe it is symbolic, when the dark lost the war they lost power, you use a majority of power through your arms, i thought it was almost funny how the statue broke so i kept it." The figure stepped out of the shadows and a shiver ran down jacks spine. Black metal boots stuck out from beneath a tatter robe that was darker then the shadows themselves, leaning on what appeared to be a cane but jack realized it was a long bone with a scythe blade shining at the top. No skin was exposed, either covered by the black armor or the tattered robe. His neck however was exposed revealing a small tattoo that was the ancient symbol of brother hood. Then his face, was horrifying yet it grabbed jacks attention all the same, the robes hood covered the top of his head but his face was still visible, a mask covered exactly half his face and it was so real looking it was sick, a skull that was blacken like it had been charred by a flame met with the flesh part of his face like it was fused. He appeared to be in his late 40s, yet still strong looking. His eye color was a crimson red and he wore a tired yet determined expression on the half of his face that was exposed. A single lock of gray hair hung down from the hood, Jack imagined much more was concealed in the hood. Jack felt scared, yet he couldnt run, he couldnt do anything. He knew who the man was, he was in the history books in school. This man was supposed to be dead! The man, Aaron Reaper, smiled. He was amused. "Do you understand what this is boy?" He questioned Jack. Jack gritted his teeth and spoke firmly "I cant be, this is impossible". Aaron sighed "If you arent like me, If you arent a element of dark power then tell me this. How are you breathing?" Jack opened his mouth but no words came out. The man was right, jack felt more alive then he had ever felt. Aaron Reaper approached Jack and stopped in front of him his hand extended "My boy, you and I can change the realms, we will be kings" something stirred in the depths of jack "You have the power of darkness jack, its time you learn your potential" Aaron spoke softly yet firmly. Jack made up his mind, he took Aarons hand and a rush of power filled him.

He was Jack Thorn, and he was a dark element.
