The story starts out with a boy with Teal hair sitting on a bench kicking his legs back and fourth as if he was waiting for someone but he really wasn't now you must be wondering who this little boy is. Well It's Lui Shirosagi but you probably already knew that but oh well.
The little Lui would look up now and again but when he looked up again he saw a girl by a tree a bit far away from him and when he blinked it looked like she got just a bit closer going from tree to tree. every time the girl got closer. Lui say that she wore a black and white Yakuta with a pink headband on her head and it looked like she was holding something.
Lui looked down again for a second and when he looked back up he saw a pink eye looking at him in the eyes "Hello!" she yelled catching him off guard making him flinch a bit. The girl backed away from his face and took a bite of a cake she had in a container
Lui also noticed the strange girl had a baby carrier on with a silver fox being held who was also looking at Lui and it's bit tongue sticking out just a bit. "What are you doing out here? Wait don't tell me! your here looking for the nine-tailed fox too right?!"
Lui just looked at the girl blinking confusedly while the girl was waiting for a response.
After a bit of silence Lui finally responded "Wha-." But he was then cut off by the girl "You know what you proabaly don't even know what I'm talking about but I should probably introduce myself!" the girl took another bite of her cake before putting it beside Lui on the bench " I'm Kayden Zorro. Pleasure to meet you! Oh and this is Yin!"
Their fox let out a small yip before the girl put her hand out for Lui to shake.
But Lui just stared at her hand.
"Come on my hands getting tired." The girl said making a hand motion as if to show her hand getting tired.
"lui shirosagi." Lui mumbled "what was that??" The girl cupped her hand over her ear to hear the boy better.
Annoyed Lui spooked louder "Lui Shirosagi." The girl smiled before Yin yipped at Kayden "I know I know Yin just be patient." She said petting the small fox in the baby carrier.
"Now come on small friend we better get going before night falls." The girl said in an accent before walking away.
After walking a few steps the girl stopped and turned around. " well aren't 'cha commin?" She asked tilting her head a bit.
"I just met you how do I know your not an adult in disguise?" Lui asked with a frown on his face.
"Yip- (bit-)" before Yin can finish Kayden held his snout shut "I don't know how that would work but I guess your right."
But before the girl left she stopped in her tracks again "Oh shoot I forgot"
The girl went back and got the forgotten cake on the bench "well hope to see you around!" And with that the girl left.

And surprisingly Lui did see her again the next day at school. It also turns out they were in the same class.
Without each other knowing.
So when they had to do a winter project guess who Lui got partnered with.
Some random girl named Tilly.
Now you must be wondering. 'But I know Kayden and Lui were gonna be partnered.' or ' why aren't Kayden and Lui aren't partnered?'
Well that's because they had to pick names from a box. Oh and did I mention that's how they found out that they are in the same class? Well yeah that's how they found out I guess.
"Hey hey." said Tilly from beside Lui. "What?". "You know Kayden right??" at that question Lui was confused. Was she some kind of cliche bully or something?
"Yeah." he said boredly "She's great isn't she??" the girl said dreamly-.
Wait... Dreamly?
"What?" but Tilly just ignored his question and continued talking "I mean she's friends with everyone and isn't popular some how... Wait what if she has a lot of admirers? Then I wouldn't have a chance-"
As Tilly just rambled on Lui just zoned out for a second 'She has a lot of friends huh?' after Tilly was done rambling she turned to Lui.
"So what are we going to do for our project? I heard Kayden was gonna do something with Artic Foxes with her partner. Maybe we should do something with an artic animal as well! What do you think?"
And after that first sentence Lui realized something...
Tilly had a crush on Kayden.
I mean was Kayden into girls? Maybe? Who knows I guess.
"Hello? Lui??"
Lui blinked before thinking of something quickly.
" I mean we could do a 3D winter forest with things that can survive in the Winter?" he stated as a question.
Tilly thought about it before Nodding a little" That could work."
And with that settled Lui came back to his thoughts.
