Chapter Two

...three hours earlier...

Devlin and Draven sat side by side at the table staring pointlessly around the crowded bar, a look of complete and utter boredom etch across their handsome identical faces, which they didn't attempt to hide.

Why did they bother to accept this invitation to come to this bar anyway? They both didn't mind having a drink or two, but they would much rather be out trying to find their mate who has been avoiding them for the past three weeks, much to their discontentment. A part of them couldn't blame her for her reaction, after all, it had totally taken all of them by surprise.

Tiberius McCallister, their father, was the CEO and founder of McCalla Corp, one of the world's leading Technological Software corporations. McCalla Corp, could be found all over the world specializing in computer and weaponized technology. But unknowingly to the world, Tiberius McCallister had a dark secret. He was not just the CEO of a multibillion-dollar corporation but was also the reigning Alpha King of the Timber Point Peak Lycan Pack, one of the largest Lycan or werewolf packs in the world.

The packs wealth had been accumulating ever since before the twins were born. For centuries, their kind had roamed the earth, expanding and acclimatizing to the changing of the times, their wealth growing through experimentation in many areas. It was into this world that Devlin and Draven were born. They had everything they could possibly want with the exception of one thing:

A mate who would accept and love the both of them.

Ever since they turned 16, the young identical sons of the Alpha King of Timber Point Peak, had been searching to find their one true mate; the one that had been prophesized long ago by the elders to be their Luna Queen. It was quite unusual for a Lycan to not find their mate once they turned the age of 16 as it was also around that time when they underwent the 'Change', where they fully embraced their inner sacred wolf. But when Devlin and Draven had undergone this painful rite of passage into adulthood, they found that there was no mate to be found.

Years continued to tick by since they had changed, and the twins were forced to watch as each one of their friends went on to find their mates and start families of their own. At first, the twins laughed it off as a fluke, but deep down they found themselves becoming increasingly discouraged. It got to the point where Devlin and Draven finally came to a mutual decision to forgo searching for their mate entirely. Instead, they chose to explore their sexual side; Sleeping with any she-wolf willing to satisfy their extremely lustful sexual appetites, and there had been many who took up that challenge.

Devlin and Draven had a different woman in their bed almost every night, never committing to any of them. Their wild sexual escapades with all the eligible she-wolves in their pack, went on unchecked throughout their final years of high school. They had just celebrated their 21st birthday when their father finally caught on to what they had been doing over the years, and he had been utterly disgusted.

At that point, the twins had decided to broaden their horizons sexually and began to be bolder when it came to their selections of lovers. They had started to incorporate the daughters of visiting pack leaders into the mix when they finally got caught. At the time, they had been sleeping with the two eldest daughters of a visiting pack leader from a small European country. However, Devlin and Draven didn't know that both girls already had mates. The scandal that was about to ensue lead to their father agreed to send them away to school as a means of punishment.

Which was the reason why their father enrolled them into the all-human university, Red Moon University, which was several hundred miles away from the privilege lifestyle the brothers had grown so accustomed to. Their father figured that by doing this, it would encourage his sons to change their ways and grow up. But both Devlin and Draven had no intentions of doing so. After all, who could or rather would possibly turn down the young attractive identical sons of one of the richest and most powerful men in the world? However, the one thing that the twins hadn't anticipated happening upon coming to Red Moon University was finding their mate.
