I woke up to the feeling of the bed dipping on one side, a shade covering the beaming sun from my face. A kiss was pressed down onto my cheek before the bed rose, letting me guess that was Lucifer.

I turned around and watched at he gathered some things together and took his suit jacket off the coat rack connected to the closet door. His hands beautifully decorated in those rings he always wore, his hair perfectly fixed up.

"Where are you going?" I asked tiredly.

He stopped what he was doing and looked back over to me, putting the things in his hand down, "I have to go out for a few hours, you know, work stuff." he answered.

"Now? I didn't even get a good morning! You were about to leave me here to wake up in an empty bed again!" I pouted, accidentally raising my voice.

He walked over to me and grabbed me by the throat, squeezing down slightly tight but still allowing me to somewhat breathe, "Don't you dare raise your voice at me again, piccola."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that. I'm just a bit upset about you leaving all the time." I said with the bit of breath I had as he let go of my throat.

"I know, amore. I'm trying my best to make sure things like this don't happen again, you will never wake up in an empty bed as soon as I get everything together, okay?" he assured me, cupping my face with his hand.

"Okay, I understand." I smiled, pulling him down for a quick kiss, "Please be careful, I love you."

"I love you too, amore."

And with that, he grabbed his things again and left the room. I was already starting to feel a bit lonely without him, I didn't have anyone to annoy or do things with which sucked, so I just laid back down for a few minutes until I eventually got bored again.

I picked up my phone and looked through the notifications I had gotten throughout the night. Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, everything had notifications.

I was just checking them all out before I had gotten a new message from a random number, I haven't saved this number. I was assuming it was one of those scam likely things but I still checked it out of curiosity.

Everything just dropped down to my stomach as I read the 'random' message. It was from Nicolas, I haven't spoken to him at all and this message just changed my entire perspective on him.

"Missing you so much, beautiful. I can't wait until we see each other again soon, it's felt like forever since we've last communicated. You've been on my mind 24/7 since everything that has happened, I wish I could get my hands on you sooner. -N.R."

I felt sick after reading that message, not knowing what to do. I had already changed my number, how did he find it? Why was he texting me this? Why is he thinking of me? A million of thoughts were going through my head, all unanswered.

'Maybe is was a wrong number..'

'But what if it wasn't, then what?'

I closed out of the message, opening other apps to distract myself from what I read. Nothing was working, I couldn't help but think about that message the entire time.

I turned my phone off and climbed out of bed, going over to the closet so I could grab an outfit for the day. I opened the door and rummaged through the clothing, finding one of Lucifer's big T-shirts and a nice pair of shorts.

I left the closet and closed the door, walking over to the bathroom with the clothes in my hand. I walked in and turned on the shower so the water could get nice and warm before I got in.
