"Do you want chocolate on it?"
"Oh yes. Drizzle it on the fruits please"
Devin proceeds to drizzle a smiley face on the pancake.
"HEY! That's not want I asked for", says Sara.
Devin sheepishly apologizes by wrapping his hands around her waist and pulling her closer.
"Devin", she whispers as she struggles to remove his hands from her waist.
Devin leans down to her ears and whispers "Yes?" as his firmly wraps his arms tighter around her.
"You're suffocating me", she says as she coughs.
"Oh really?", Devin says as he leans in to kiss her cheek.
*Sniff**Sniff*
"Oh no, the pancakes are burning", she yells as she pushes Devin's hands away from her.
"NOOO!! There's no more batter left", she cries.
Devin wraps his hands around her but this time Sara doesn't push him away. Instead, she welcomes his hugs and snuggles into his chest.
"It's okay babe. We can make more", Devin says as he consoles her.
"But it'll take forever. By the time we're done, it'll be lunch", she complains.
"Maybe this is why we should wake up early", he says.
"Well maybe this is why you shouldn't stay up late", she says.
"Was it only me staying up late?", he questions her smirkingly.
"Devin", she says as her hand playfully hits his arm.
And that is how pancakes were made for breakfast :)
