You and Billie Joe are finishing cleaning up around the house after a Christmas party you both hosted on Christmas Eve. The guests had left and the two of you are tidying up before heading to bed.

Billie is wearing an ugly Christmas sweater, a Santa hat, his reading glasses. His hair is dyed blonde and he has some beard stubbles coming in. Perry Miller vibes from Ordinary World.

The fire in the fireplace is dying out and there's a Prima Donna Christmas record playing "Mistletoe Blues" on the record player and the song finishes up. Billie turns it off and walks over to the couch to lay on it, propping up his feet and putting his hands behind his head as he let out a content sigh. He turns his head to you and smile. "What a night huh? How are you feeling?' He asks.

"I'm okay. " You said picking up some empty glass champagne glasses and walking towards the kitchen to put it in the dishwasher. "A little buzzed, tired, but I'm feeling pretty good." You smile at him as you walk back to the living room.

The two of you glance over to the broken coffee table in the middle of the room that Tre landed on while playing with Nerf guns earlier in the night.

"Tre is fucking wild." He chuckled, shaking his head in disapproval.

"Yeah, he's too much. And I am so happy that he's going to be a grandfather." You said giggling, thinking back on all of the shenanigans that happened throughout the night. "I really love our Green Day family." You sighed.

"Me too." He said. Shifting his hands from the back of his head to placing them on his chest. "I'm thankful for them."

It was great to be around everyone and host a Christmas party but you couldn't wait to just get under the covers and snuggle up with your husband.

"I have something for you, Billie." You said. Walking over towards the tall Christmas tree, and you bent down to pick up a little box you had wrapped up with a small gift for Billie inside.

"You do?" He said sitting upwards on the couch and scratching his head. "I thought we agreed on not getting each other anything materialistic, baby."

"We did, but I want to give this to you." You handed him the little box and he smiled.

"What is it?" He said shaking it near his ear.

"Open it up." you said smiling as you sat next to him and leaned your head on his shoulder.

He opened the gift curiously and held it in his hand. It was a little crystal ornament you special ordered from Viaggiano, Italy where his family originated from. The ornament had a photo of him and Ollie inside. And etched in the crystal glass was "though you are not here with me, in my heart you'll always be."

He got teary eyed.

"Wow, this is....this is beautiful, Y/N. Thank you." He smiled.

He kissed your forehead and looked at the ornament in his hand again. "Let's hang it on the tree together."

You smiled and got up from the couch as the two of you walked over to the tree. The smell of fresh pine giving off the Christmas spirit. "Where should we hang it?' He asked.

"How about right here?" You suggested as you pointed a little underneath the star.

"That's a great spot." He said reaching over to hang it.
