"Attention: dropship has landed, please keep your hands, feet and luggage inside the ship and disembark safely, thank you" the artificial female voice announced. The dropship loading ramp opened as light flooded the inside of the ship YN grabbed his bag and made his way outside the ship. YN upon exiting the ship guarded his eyes against the blinding light as spending a few hours being in a dimly lit airship would do that. As YN's eyes recovered, the first thing he saw was a massive grey building that dwarfed YN, it was as if YN was starting at a fortress. With a heavy stomach, YN made his way inside to his surprise, the building inside was a lot fancier than on the outside and felt like some waiting area in a corporate skyscraper. YN made his way to the front counter where a woman in glasses and a tied-up bun was typing away at the computer.
YN stood there awkwardly in hopes that she would notice him before giving a nonchalant cough to get her attention the woman had a surprised look on her face "oh jeez sorry I didn't notice you there" she apologized politely "oh no that's alright" YN replied, "I assume you're the new guy right, sent by kuben blisk?" The woman asked "kuben, so that's his name" YN thought to himself. "Oh yeah that's right" YN confirmed, forgetting he was in the middle of a conversation "oh lovely your room is just on the second floor here's your keys and door number" the woman directed handing YN his keys " I suggest you get some rest, you got your first match tomorrow". YN raised his head in shock "tomorrow?" He thought to himself in shock "oh and before you go, what will be your callsign?" The woman quickly inquired in realisation. " My callsign, I didn't think about that," YN thought to himself. YN processed to close his eyes with his fist covering his mouth in a thinking fashion, YN first thought of fire since his abilities are just that, then he thought about the explosion part of his skills so his thought process led to heat and explosions " heatburst, flamewave" YN Listed in his head. YN's eyes suddenly perked open and his body jolted up in realisation " my callsign...is Daybreak".
YN after finding his room slumped into his bed his bag, not even unpacked YN's legs felt like jelly from the ride here. The Apex games YN couldn't believe it, YN made it to the Apex games perhaps now, his dreams could become reality however, it was not that easy, people could shoot him left or right with no warning whatsoever. YN turned to his side not wanting to get nervous and instead tried focusing on his goal, before long YN was out like a light.
The next morning and YN was a bit edgy on the fact that his game doesn't start until the next couple of hours. After having breakfast, YN thought it'd be a great idea to greet the other legends and made his way down to the lounge. In the lounge the legends were minding their business while also discussing the new legend " say, anyone knows about the new guy? He didn't show up last night" a silky voice asked, "chill out Witt, he was probably tired from the trip" answered a strange female voice.
"Well, I'm just saying, could have been nice for him to show up and say hello" mirage murmured to himself. YN after looking around had finally found the door to the lounge however, something in him didn't want to open that door to help, YN took a deep breath "remember who your doing this for" YN reminded himself before opening the door the find the other legends glaring at him, YN could swear he could feel his heart pound out his chest from the pressure "hey there, he is the new guy?" a booming yet gentle voices called "err hey" YN nervously greeted. A massive guy in white body armour and tied hair waltzed up to YN and proceeded to give him a massive hug "wassup brotha, I'm Makoa, call me Gibraltar"

YN tapped Gibraltar back to signal he was hugging too hard and Gibraltar promptly let go. Another followed this time, a short girl with red puffs of hair on the side of her head " how's it hanging new guy, Ajay Shey, yuh personal lifeline" lifeline introduced in a strange accent.
